Buy lamb here in bulk if you are cooking for a crowd, and one customer said the lamb turned out well for a dinner with friends. For barbecues, the halal burger meat and sausages are stocked, and one shopper bought them for a company barbecue and found the pricing fair. Soup bones are also on hand for a pot of soup. Prices are low for the quality, and the owner is friendly and easy to deal with.
Good to know
The owner runs the counter himself, so you will usually be served by him. Shoppers say the meat is delicious and the customer service is very nice. Several other halal butchers are within a few blocks on the same stretch of 17 Avenue SE, so it is easy to compare.
