Fairview Southeast Mosque (IISC)

A southeast Calgary mosque run by the Islamic Information Society of Calgary, in a former church on 78 Avenue - spacious, well kept, and open around the clock, which makes it a dependable stop for prayer at any hour and one of only a few on this map that can say so. Praying here All five daily prayers in jama'ah. Two Jumu'ah sittings. The first khutbah is in English from about half twelve with the jama'ah standing at one; the second follows. Times drift with the season, so confirm before travelling. A sisters' area downstairs in the basement, with room to sit as well as pray. Men pray on the upper floor. No dedicated wudu area, which is the one gap reviewers mention - the restrooms serve that purpose. Good to know A large parking lot, which the older converted buildings on this map often lack. Step-free entrance and restrooms on site. Rated 4.8 from more than 150 Google reviews.
