Carmine’s in an excellent Pizzeria! The staff are very friendly, and they have a great variety of pizzas to try. They serve slices during school hours and the full pizzas do not take that long if you order ahead (our order only took 25 minutes). We ordered several large pizzas for a family get together and they were a hit with everyone! The pizzas were hot and fresh, the sauce was delicious, and the dough was perfect. While the pizzas are were a bit on the pricy side, they were well worth it. All my family also agreed that the pizza is even better after the new owners took over. Well worth the stop!

I used to love this place so much that I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone I knew. I would always say it was “the closest thing you can get to New York–style pizza in Calgary.” But things have changed drastically. What used to be a reliable, delicious, and even visually appealing pizza has turned into something unrecognizable. The crust is overworked and chewy in all the wrong ways, the toppings sit in a layer of grease, and the flavour that used to set them apart is just… gone. The pasta has become bland and lifeless, and the meatballs (which were once a standout) now taste unmistakably store-bought. It’s genuinely frustrating to watch a place that used to take so much pride in its food decline this sharply. I’m not trying to be dramatic, but the quality drop is impossible to ignore, and it deserves to be acknowledged. I’m incredibly disappointed to see one of my favourite spots fall this far.

This is hands down the best spot for Italian food. The service was incredible and the quality of the food was out of the world. I recommend this spot to my friends and they all say it's a gem of Calgary. My go-to is the Donair Pie, but you can't go wrong with anything you order here.

To truly understand how good Carmine's pizza is, you need to know this: my wife hates pizza — but she loves Carmine's. That alone says everything. As a self-proclaimed pizza fanatic who has tried pizza from all over, along with my equally enthusiastic kids, I can confidently say Carmine's is easily one of the best in Calgary and among the best I've ever had. Every pizza is made with exceptional care, and each one looks exactly like the pictures in the brochure. I've worked my way through much of the menu, and some personal favourites include the O.G., the Daily Slice, and the Hawaiian. But honestly, I've never once been disappointed by anything I've ordered. Beyond the pizza, their pastas and poutine are both excellent, and their garlic bread is absolutely amazing. What really sets Carmine's apart, though, is the family behind it. They are truly wonderful people who run a top-notch operation. Every visit, they make you feel genuinely welcome and go above and beyond to deliver great service. I can't recommend Carmine's Pizza highly enough. Do yourself a favour and give them a try.

I’m in complete awe!! I was driving around the city looking for authentic European pizza and it seemed almost impossible; until I found this pizzeria.. I called in and the lady was so friendly with great customer service; the owner welcomed me warmly and the son was so nice to me I was confident that the pizza would be great. the PIZZA WAS AMAZING…. we ordered the Mediterranean pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I had in the city… I will continue coming here. I am done with the other pizza spots because this is my new spot!! Thank You!!!!!
