We almost walked into the Vietnamese restaurant next door but decided to give Caspian Kebab a try instead. What a great decision. Everything was outstanding. The rice was light, fragrant, and perfectly cooked. The koobideh was juicy with a beautiful char, the beef was tender, and the chicken was incredibly moist and flavorful. Even the simple sides—the sumac onions, grilled tomato, pickles, and olives—were fresh and balanced the meal perfectly. The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and you could tell everything was cooked with care rather than rushed. If you're in the area, don't overlook this place just because it's new. We'll absolutely be back. Highly recommended.

I've never had Persian food before but having the food here as my first experience was incredible! The koobideh kebabs were filling, juicy and meaty. Its owned by a family and the restaurant felt really homey. Will definitely come back.

I dropped in on a weekend with my daughter and ordered the Joojeh kebab and was blown away. The juiciest chicken I've had in a very long time, and everything was served so beautifully. The food was perfection and the service was fantastic. This is a family run business that I look forward to supporting as great Persian food is hard to find here. I keep dreaming of the joojeh it was so flavourful and juicy.

I had an excellent experience at Caspian Kebab. The Barg and Koobideh were exceptionally well-balanced and cooked to perfection. One thing that often disappoints me at some restaurants is koobideh that turns out dry, chewy, or lacking juiciness. Caspian Kebab's koobideh, however, had the perfect balance of ground beef and fat, resulting in a flavorful, tender, and juicy kebab. I also really enjoyed the traditional Kermanshahi animal fat served on the side. It added an authentic flavor that reminded me of the best kebabs back home. I normally don't write reviews immediately after a meal, but this time I was so impressed that as soon as I finished eating, I called the restaurant and asked to speak with Alireza, the chef. I wanted to personally compliment him on the quality of his koobideh and encourage him to maintain these high standards as the business grows. Unfortunately, I've seen many restaurants in Calgary start with excellent quality, but once they establish a loyal customer base, the quality gradually declines. I sincerely hope Caspian Kebab continues doing exactly what they're doing today because the food was outstanding. Thank you, Caspian Kebab, and thank you, Alireza, for your dedication to authentic, high-quality Persian cuisine. Keep up the great work!

I enjoyed my experience here! First of all, the hospitality from both the lady and the gentleman working there was incredibly warm and friendly. The portion sizes and food quality were excellent, and I truly enjoyed every bite. The kebab had an authentic taste that closely reminded me of the ones from Iran — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The meal came with a side of salad, onions, and parsley. The prices were also quite reasonable for the quality and quantity offered. Overall, I was genuinely satisfied and would definitely recommend this place.
