Saw a tiktok regarding the delicious food here. Let me tell you, it was amazing! I had the beef brisket sandwich and poutine, my daughter had the philly cheese steak sandwich. They were too die for! I was only able to eat half of the sandwich and some of the poutine because there is just so much food. The owner was very friendly. We had a great conversation regarding the TV show Fargo being filmed there. Whenever we come in from Medicine Hat, I will always stop in here for something delicious to eat.

The food was so delicious, especially the beef brisket sandwich! The interior has an old vibe, perfect as a contrast from modern decor in restaurants these days. The cook was accommodating and super chill. Definitely a scrumptious sandwich and chicken spot.. will absolutely be back for the beef brisket!!

We love hole-in-the-wall neighbourhood gems! One look at the exterior and you know that there is something special Smokehouse & Broaster Chicken. We ordered the 3-piece spicy chicken combo and a smoked beef sandwich combo. Both came with fries, gravy and a can of pop. The beef sandwich was hearty and tasted good with fresh toppings. However, it was the spicy chicken that was the highlight of the meal. Super juicy, not greasy with only a light batter, every bite was delicious! Next time we will ask for more spicy powder! The rustic fries could have been crispier, but the portion was good. I’d love to have these tossed in the spicy powder too! The owner, Doc was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the meal. If you enjoy Blackfoot Diner vibes, then you’ll love this place! p.s they have some cool photos with the season 1 cast of Fargo when it was a filming location.

My first visit to the "Smokehouse". If you are looking for something really different, you should check this place out. A 70's vibe, non pretentious, casual but the food is great! Specialty of the house is pressure cooked chicken but i chose hot beef sandwich with fries and a drink for less than $20. The photo tells the whole story.

the food was good but the guy behind the counter seemed like he hated us. We thought it was kinda funny that he was so bothered by us asking for water but it was definitely jarring. He would roll his eyes and sigh loudly about everything. Maybe he had a hard day. food was pretty good and the walls were covered in cool signage.
