Banff Shawarma
Reviews of Banff Shawarma
from GoogleBanff Shawarma is one of my favorite places to eat in Banff! The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and provide excellent customer service. The food is fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. The portion sizes are generous, so you definitely get great value for your money. If you’re looking for tasty shawarma with amazing service, I highly recommend giving this place a try!
Located downstairs in the mall, next to Popeye. I randomly chose this place as the food looked tasty. And i’m glad i did. I bought the Mixed shawarma poutine, and it was delicious. A lot of food for decent price. The cheese in the poutine was melted and stringy, it was yum! Lots of shawarma and chicken over the fries. It was filling, i couldn’t finish it. I just wish there was more cheese and less meat. The gravy was good too. (I had a poutine from around the block the day before and it was horrible and salty. This one was 20% less expensive and 200% more delicious.) Stop by if you are in the area!
Really good. This shawarma place was inside a small mall in downtown. It is entirely Halal. We got the mixed shawarma poutine, and the doner plate. They were both delicious but the poutine was amazing. I highly recommend coming here and getting that poutine! Not super expensive.
Came here 2 days in a row after hiking and wooooooooo it hit the spot both times. Delicious and filling without emptying out your wallet. I think ill have to come back again for a 3rd time before leaving.
Very disappointing experience. The food quality was really poor, the portions were surprisingly small, and the service was extremely slow. The restaurant seemed understaffed, and the overall management felt disorganized. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst shawarma experiences I’ve had, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
SHAWARMA POUTINE!!!!
Great service and delicious food🙏🙏🙏🙏
There is good service and Delicious food
We Ordered Sharma platter with rice and we also order a shawarma wrap both for excellent
Absolutely delicious! The shawarma was fresh, flavorful, and very filling. Everything tasted great, and the portions were generous. The food was prepared nicely and the staff were friendly. I’m really glad I tried this place while in Banff. Definitely recommend it! 🌯❤️
We visited Banff Shawarma with family and ordered three chicken shawarma plates, each priced around $16. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing, the quality was poor and the portion size was very small. Even after finishing a full plate, we were still hungry. For the price, the food simply doesn’t deliver in either taste or quantity. I don’t recommend this place if you’re expecting good value or satisfying portions.
About Banff Shawarma
A fully halal shawarma counter with an on-site prayer space, downstairs in the Park Avenue mall at 317 Banff Avenue in downtown Banff, next to Popeyes.
What to order
The mixed shawarma poutine is the one to get: chicken and beef over fries, with cheese curds that melt into the gravy. Diners rate it highly and say the gravy is good. The doner plate is the other good pick. The wraps and poutines are good value, and the poutine is the most filling choice.
Good to know
For a big meal, go with the poutine rather than a plate. Diners say the cheese is melted and stringy, and that it is good value for the money.
Visiting
It is an easy, filling stop on the avenue, and the staff are described as friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh and full of flavour, and the portions are generous. Visitors who came back after a day of hiking say it hit the spot both times.
