Very welcoming community. Clean & well maintained facility on the upper level. Free weekly lessons of knowledge, New brothers & sisters always welcome. The true methodology is being practiced & taught here, QURAN & SUNNAH with the understanding of the first 3 generations! The prayer area is located on the second floor, The place is really good, and they pray all the daily prayers in this mosque. If you find the upstairs mosque closed, just ask the shopkeeper in the downstairs store for the key.

Place is okay to pray but it smells so bad on Friday salahs, I was told people cleaned in the mornings of Friday but lack of hygiene on other days has the place smelling like oil. I complained to a brother today and instead of taking a good stance, he gave a sour face and got annoyed. Then he told me pray elsewhere if this location wasn’t right for me. Honestly it’s such a shame for someone to say that, I attended this place as everyone adhere to the aqeedah of the salaf. Yet some of them act like people of innovation

I went here on a monday during Asr prayer time and it was closed. I think its closed every monday because pak foods is closed

Maktabah As Sunnah Calgary is an Islamic centre on the second floor of Jacksonport Square, 10960 42 Street NE, Unit 110, in Cityscape in far northeast Calgary, and holds Friday Jumu'ah. Maktabah is Arabic for library.
