from GoogleI have had many people recommend this place and am not too disappointed. There are good portions and the chicken is very good. I ordered the mac poutine and found that the mac and cheese was runny and lacked flavour, this may be a personal preference but I do like a thicker sauce for mac and cheese, givin that it should have cheese. Otherwise yummy food. There are only 16 seats but we were able to sit, its a very small shop so I would suggest take-out. Otherwise its a good place to try!
I tried their food before and liked it. This was my second time and I was lost in their long menu which offers a wide range of everything I want to try. The cashier (Abby), who was extremely knowledgeable and quite helpful with the perfect attitude for her job. I watched her taking care of 3 more parties as I dined in and her service was consistent. Also, her business etiquettes are on point! This staff is going to go far, I can see. The food that was recommended to me was perfect!
Service was perfect, the host was pleasant and patient with us newbies. Even recommended upgrading to a poutine, which we did. All food was plentiful and very tasty full of flavour and warm. Unfortunately the music playing in the restaurant was full of obscenities and foul language, NOT a place for children. The dining room is very small (maybe 16 seat) and there is not a bathroom to wash or waste. Not sure how that’s legal, I thought Alberta law says DINE IN restaurants have to provide restrooms but I could be wrong.
Traditional wings are great. I've been 3 times and they're always juicy with a nice crisp and well seasoned. Also tried the Mac, absolutely delicious and the onion rings are tasty. Service is awesome, being helpful to direct with flavors you would likely enjoy.
Absolutely loved my experience at The Food Chemist – Chinook.The food was delicious, fresh, and packed with flavour. The portions were generous, and there was a great variety to choose from.The mac & cheese, loaded fries, and wings were especially impressive. What really stood out was the combination of great food, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere. You can tell that a lot of thought goes into the flavours and presentation. Everything felt satisfying and worth the price Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for delicious comfort food in Calgary. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu 🔥🍗🧀
This place is amazing!! Server was super friendly and made some recommendations on what to get, and definitely did not disappoint. Got the JDM and pineapple jerk wings, then honey chicken Mac n cheese. 10/10! Will definitely be back next time in Calgary!
