I am very disappointed with the customer service we received at the Gong Cha Marlborough location during our visit around 8:15 PM. While the drinks themselves may be fine, customer service is a major part of any food and beverage experience, and unfortunately, this location fell far below expectations. When we entered the store, there was no greeting whatsoever. The employee was occupied with washing dishes and, despite clearly noticing us standing at the counter, did not acknowledge our presence. We stood there for over a minute waiting for even a simple "Hello" or "I'll be with you shortly," but neither was offered. As customers, being welcomed is a basic expectation, and the lack of acknowledgment immediately created an unwelcoming atmosphere. The experience became even more disappointing when one of my friends asked about the Biscoff drink options. We simply wanted clarification on what forms the drink was available in. Instead of receiving a helpful response, the employee replied with "Sorry?" in a rude and impatient tone. She then asked, "What do you want? Smoothie, boba, or tea?" in a manner that felt dismissive and unprofessional. We were asking that exact question because we were unfamiliar with the available options and were seeking guidance. Throughout the ordering process, the employee's attitude remained unfriendly and unwelcoming. There was no effort to engage with us, answer questions politely, or provide the level of customer service that should be expected in a hospitality environment. The interaction felt rushed and uncomfortable rather than customer-focused. Sadly disappointed!!

Love love love this place. Staff are awesome and I've never been disappointed with any drink I've ordered. High quality and delicious everytime! Very quick to fix any mistakes (if any). Always love taking a seat and looking at the post-note wall!

We came in with a big group of people and everyone was super nice, friendly and accommodating to us! The staff got us free bubble waffle and key chains. Would recommend coming here 11/10!

My siblings and I are happy to finally find a boba shop in Canada with both delicious drinks and great service! The staff here are very friendly and happy to provide recommendations and answer questions. This Gong Cha location has tasty drinks and did not skimp on toppings. The shop is also very clean, bright, and had cute décor on the walls. While we were there, we saw the owner! She was really kind and was helping her staff out. I am glad to support a boba shop with good service, drinks, and a caring business owner.

Friendly staffs and great environment at this Gong Cha location! The little man who took my order provided professional customer service and showed knowledge of each drink on the menu. It was my first time coming to this location last Saturday but sure won't be my last! Thank you for brightening my day and making me a happy customer ❤️ Edit: came back here a week later during the weekday, it was a totally different experience. The drinks were not as good, they didn't taste the same as my first visit. It feels like the drinks were made by a bunch of kids working a part time job that they don't care. I won't be coming back during the weekdays now :/
