I had such a great experience at this abaya store! The designs are so elegant and beautifully made, and you can really tell the quality is amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making the whole shopping experience even better. If you’re looking for stylish and high-quality abayas, I definitely recommend checking this place out! I had the pleasure of visiting this boutique yesterday. I have been there several times before with and without my family. Mostly the products they have for women - dreesses, scarves, hijabs, etc. but they also have some men's stuff like thobes, scandals, perfumes, etc. I bought an oil, air freshner and digital quran. Most of their products are very reasonably priced and sourced from Ajman, United Arab Emirates. Sister Sadia is a sweet lady with a good heart. At first she was a little reluctant to sell to me because perhaps I was not from the Somali community ethnically, but soon she relented when I educated her that not doing so would be against Canadian laws of discrimination based on national origin. May Allah bless her business and continue to grow it while she learns more in terms of personal development as well. Recommended..

On 28 Street SE in Forest Lawn, Al Harameen Style and Home Decor sells abayas and thobes alongside curtains, bedding and other home decor. It is a modest-wear and homeware store rather than a food place.
What to look for
The abayas are elegant and well made, and new designs arrive through the year, so the stock changes between visits. For the home, the curtains are the piece to look at. Shoppers say there is a lot of variety and that everything is easy to find.
A smaller men's section has thobes, scarves and perfumes. The shelves also carry oils and a digital Quran, and most items are reasonably priced.
The staff
The staff are friendly and helpful. The co-owner will walk you through what is in, so ask him if you are not sure what to choose. Visitors say they keep coming back, some with family, because the prices are fair and the welcome is warm.
