Will not order here again. Ordered samosas and Naan to complement our home made curry. Fortunately we had other food as this was garbage food. Vegetable samosas were very dark as if cooked in old oil and greasy with oil leaking out of them onto the plate. Naan bread (garlic) was soggy and over saturated with flavourless non garlic ?butter that was leaking through the tinfoil wrap and paper bag. It takes talent to make garlic naan both saturated and tasteless. Ordered for 5 pm pickup and food was not ready and had to wait 8 minutes upon arrival. ETA: this restaurant reached out to the purchaser via phone (who was not me) and asked this review to be removed and they would give them free food. Removing the review should not be a condition for making things right. These samosas and naan are not the quality the restaurants capable of and should never have been served. I will add another edit IF the restaurant makes this right by my in-laws.

Food was average, slightly overpriced for what it was. Portions were a bit small. I got delivery and the containers leaked in the bag. They also use plastic take out containers which is the absolute worst material to put food in…the toxic chemicals from the plastic leech into the food even more when it’s hot. Update: I have been sick for the past 2 hours…definitely won’t be eating here again.

Confession: I’m actually not a huge fan of Indian food but Green Chili has converted me. We live in the neighbourhood and ordered takeout on a whim. In the past two weeks, we’ve come back three times - it’s that good! I tried their Coconut Curries (the Beef and the Fish is my favourite but you can get it vegetarian, with chicken, lamb or prawns also). After one taste, I was hooked. The sauce is so flavourful and delicious. It’s not spicy at all but if you want a bit of a kick I’m sure they can add some spice for you. The Tandoori Chicken is another my favourite. It’s SO GOOD. Layered with flavour and the chicken is juicy and tender. We also have tried their Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo (spicy but delicious) and Chicken Biryani and all were tasty. The Biryani container was literally bursting with rice and chicken. The Garlic Butter Naan is a must. The only thing that wasn’t amazing was the Fish Pakora. We just wanted it crispier so this might not be a great takeout dish but the fish itself was nice. Looking forward to working our way through their extensive menu!

Food poisoning. Family member ordered from this restaurant and the next day they were deathly ill. It was absolutely from this restaurant too as it could have been nothing else. Whatever parasite was in the food has now lasted almost two weeks. Even before this experience we were extremely disappointed with this restaurant. The portions are extremely small for the price tag. The different dishes are almost indistinguishable and have no true flavour. We are also convinced that the naan bread is store bought. Needless to say we do not recommend this restaurant and caution anyone against going.

The only thing edible was the garlic naan but still stale. The was a bone in my butter chicken as well as it being very dark, not a normal color. The only thing that was good is it was a quick wait time. But the front part of the store was quite dirty.
