Woman at the counter was extremely kind in showing me how to order. I keep hearing about this place but never had a chance to try till today! Oh my goodness the spice level is perfect and the filling was delicious paired with the chutney? First time having that too. This box was only $9!! I will definitely be coming back.

We bought vegetable pakoras and vegetable samosas. Both were delicious. It is so refreshing to see someone do food right. Cooked to order and the taste was fantastic. Thank you

Is $12 for a whole box of veggie pakoras normal here? Because you don't see that price anymore these days! My husband and I have already eaten half, and the box still looks almost full! They also gave me a couple pieces extra of their puri 😄 Thank you!

First off, we have used the NE location many times with no issues. Today is the first time trying the NW location. We called whilst driving and made the order. The lady on the phone asked if it was my wife by name as we have ordered from previous location. We confirmed and also confirmed it was the NW location. Order went in without issue. We even told them not to rush as we had some running around to do. 45 mins later we went to pick up the order. Lady behind the counter states the order is not in the system. No apology. Just not in the system. We asked that they call the NE location to comfirm we ordered from the correct location. Nope, right location; however, all the workers are now denying anyone even spoke to my wife to take her order. I was sat next to her when she did on speaker phone and used her by name! So its slighty annoying as we were hoping not to wait but whatever. Had a mooch about and came back 20 mins later. Picked up order but we forgot to ask for extra sauce from the original order. We asked and they insisted on charging us 2 bucks, again stating that our order was not in the system. Again no apology. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. After we told them we were going to write a review they begrudgingly conceded after our disbelief and gave us the extra sauce. Customer service does not exist at this restaurant. Unfortunately now we do not care to support either business.

FIRST IMPRESSION This was my very first time visiting this establishment, and unfortunately, it resulted in a very poor first impression! Having reviewed over 300 businesses, primarily across Calgary, I have a clear standard of comparison, and this experience was highly unexpected. SERVICE & STAFF The staff member who assisted me was entirely unfriendly and unwelcoming. Customer service is a vital component of any business, and the cold demeanor encountered today was deeply disappointing. PRODUCT & PRICING Unlike most other restaurants of this kind, there is no option here to purchase a single samosa. In addition to the lack of purchasing flexibility, the menu options are quite pricey for what is offered. SUMMARY I was not impressed with the rigid ordering options, high prices, or the unwelcoming staff. Based on this experience, I do not plan to return to this location. Annie W.
