Lamb pieces were small and dry - Chicken kabsa ($21.99) - chicken was tender - Golden pompano fish ($30.00) - no flavour - Tandoori bread ($5.99 for 2) - good sized
A Must-Visit Mediterranean Gem! We had an amazing experience at Sallora Restaurant! The flavors were absolutely authentic and satisfying. We ordered the Shish Tawook and Shawarma Plate—both were bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. My friends went for the Pampona Fish and Chicken Mandi, and they couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was. A special shoutout to Omar Abdullah Illyas—his service truly stood out. Attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming, Omar was the moment of truth that made our visit exceptional. It’s rare to see someone take so much pride in ensuring guests have a great time. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Sallora to anyone looking for an unforgettable Mediterranean dining experience!
Sallora shares its kitchen and dining area with the neighboring restaurant, Jerusalem, so there’s plenty of space to sit comfortably. I’ve visited different locations before, and the staff has always been welcoming, this visit was no different. The prep counter looked very clean and organized, which gave me confidence in the food quality. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Salad Bowl with Greek salad as the base. It came with fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, sweet peppers, and a decent amount of flavorful chicken. You can choose your own toppings and sauce, which I appreciate. I mentioned that I wanted just a few potato wedges, and the staff generously added some to my bowl. The portion was large, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the overall balance of flavors was spot on. Among all the shawarma I’ve had, Sallora’s remains my favorite. The combination of generous portions, fresh ingredients, and friendly service makes it a place I always look forward to returning to. Highly recommended!
The food quality was good. We ordered Sallora special. They forgot to provide us with garlic sauce and hummus. Mary's service was exceptional. Checked in on us and served us complimentary fondue. Served us complimentary tea. The placec was very busy with nice ambiance!
It's a very busy place and lively. Order at the side where Jerusalem shawarma is. Yummy meat dishes. And fantastic deserts and drinks are made at the counter. Staff are super nice. We loved it. One dish is enough for 2 people. Always bustling in the University area.
This isn’t sallora by itself. It is Jerusalem shawarma. They say they have different menus but they do not. So if you do go just be aware it’s not sallora.
