This is for sure 100% certainty, the best Shawarma restaurant in olivr Canada I have been to many Shawarma in Restaurants in Calgary and Alberta addit Canada and this is the best restaurant by far the quantities are very big. It is a family run business and every time I am in here it is packed that is the only downside is it’s so busy all the time that sometimes it takes 10 minutes to get your food but it is 100% worth it every single time.
Deagla Shawarma was honestly unreal. From the moment I walked in, the service was incredible. They took the time to explain everything, were so patient, and made my order exactly how I wanted it. The menu was jam packed with options, including items I haven’t seen anywhere else, which made it even harder to choose because everything looked and sounded amazing. I even ordered the donair spring rolls to go because I couldn’t leave without trying more. The meat was packed with flavour, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The fries were also so good, with a really tasty twist on garlic parm that made them stand out. If you’re thinking about trying this place, do it. Total gem.
First impression from my family: expensive. I did notice they increased their prices this year by $4 a plate so basically $10 more for 2 people. Portion size was just okay/on the small end. The box is filled flat on the bottom half, while other places stuff the box so that the top half of the container is filled with food too. You know, when the staff have to push down the lid so all the food fits and the box closes. Each of our plates came with 3 pieces of potato and just half a pita. Taste wise, we thought all the elements were good but not significantly more tasty than other places. Wouldn’t go out of our way to eat here again or justify the higher price. We liked the chicken platter more than the lamb kebab which was extremely oily. Eggplant salad is unique (never had it before) and I preferred it over the other salads such as tabouli or Greek.
Absolutely delicious donair and donair platter! The portion sizes are LARGE! Largest in the city! They are super friendly greeting you with smiles and checking if you’re satisfied with the food you ordered. This was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back! Thanks so much ☺️
We had the tzatziki zaatar fries, was amazing different l style great to try (8.5/10). We also had the chicken Shawarma was good and juicy (8.5/10). The greatest was the donair we had it with garlic and tzatziki sauce AMAZING (9.5/10). The service was great, he gave us great recommendations and super kind.

Not only are the portions sizes absolutely insane but the food is incredible. The lamb platter with the eggplant salad is out of this world. Also, they are all so incredibly nice. Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve tried pretty much every shawarma and donair place in Calgary and I can honestly say Deagla is hands down the best. I drive 45 minutes just to eat here and it’s worth the drive every single time even with gas prices these days! The staff are always super friendly, the portions are generous and the quality of the food is consistently amazing. You can tell they take pride in what they do. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re seriously missing out. Keep up the amazing work guys!

Great Shawarma and donair in SE Calgary (Legacy). Have never eaten in the restaurant, it is a great takeout lunch for work functions. Food is delicious. Missed the cheese on one of our fry orders, but not gonna knock it. The food is delicious. Recommend.
