Everything tasted fresh, carefully prepared, and so yummy that we cleaned our plates. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you satisfied for hours. What really elevated the experience were the sides and drinks. The mixed fruit cocktail was bright, refreshing, and perfectly balanced — a fantastic complement to the richer breakfast dishes. And the Turkish tea? Absolutely amazing. Fragrant, properly strong, and served the traditional way — it was the perfect finishing touch. If you’re looking for a hearty, delicious, and authentic breakfast experience near downtown Calgary, Turca Breakfast House is a must. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!
This is a Turkish restaurant we keep coming back whenever we are in Calgary. We had their VIP breakfast set— which could easily feed 5 adults Everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The dishes felt authentic, well-executed, and clearly made with care. Beyond the food, the service was attentive and welcoming, and the overall environment made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a satisfying and high-quality Turkish breakfast experience, this place is definitely worth it. We’ll be coming back!
There's a reason why you'll see a constant stream of people coming and going, and often people waiting outside, because it's worth the wait. A straightforward but authentic menu of Turkish breakfast, with vegetarian and gluten free options if needed. The vibe they're going for is a social hub where friends and family can come together and enjoy the company over shared food, and their platters in particular facilitate it. As we were leaving, one of the staff (all were very friendly) said "we love to see groups laughing and having a good time!" That to me says everything about this restaurant - the food is great, but the company and environment is even better! They also have a nice selection of Turkish treats and condiments you can buy, which is a nice touch as well.
I had the Simit Platter for breakfast here. The simit was warm, fresh, and really good! I also appreciated that the black tea was actually brewed instead of just a tea bag. It's a little pricey, but the quality is definitely worth it. Good spots were reserved so you need to reserve to get nice tables.

The owner is also really friendly and comes by often to check in on customers. They offered us complimentary coffee after our meal which was a lovely touch after a great meal.

The kitchen executes the basics with precision, serving perfectly fried eggs alongside expertly seared halloumi, accompanied by an impeccable tea and coffee service. Yet, the undeniable crescendo of the meal is the kaymak and honey—a dish of such ethereal, velvet-rich harmony it defies simple description. A truly delightful sanctuary for a winter brunch.
Was a great experience to go there, everything was organized as planned, I was asked about whole wheat bread and it was there waiting for me)), my wife had birthday that day they also do something nice to surprise her, glad to choose Turca Breakfast House.

Tried Turkish breakfast for the first time and it was a very pleasant experience . Must try lots of different available options and they also do fresh juice
interesting experience overall. the vip breakfast was more than enough for four adults and offered great value. unfortunately, the coffee didn’t live up to expectations, even though it looked beautiful. the service was friendly, attentive, and very quick
