I visited with a group, and this place came recommended by people who had been before. On arrival, first impressions were positive — the interior is impressive, with a grand ceiling feature and attractive layout. It feels like somewhere you’d expect a quality dining experience. We opted for the buffet, which in hindsight was a mistake. It was far from cheap, and while the selection was relatively limited, what was available actually tasted fairly good. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was temperature. The food in the buffet trays was not properly heated. After serving ourselves and sitting down, much of what we had chosen was close to stone cold. That completely undermined the experience and took away from what could have been enjoyable flavours. Service was also very disappointing. We were a table of four and sat for the best part of an hour with virtually no interaction from staff — no check-ins, no refills, no engagement. For the price point and setting, that simply isn’t acceptable. The venue looks the part, but the fundamentals — food temperature and service — need serious attention

​I wasted an hour and a half of my time waiting for my food at Fahad Restaurant, only to get home and find out the order was both incorrect and completely missing items. To make matters worse, the food was arrived in a terrible state, messy, and leaking grease everywhere—even though I picked it up myself and it wasn't a delivery. ​If you are planning to treat your family or if your kids are excited and waiting for a specific meal, be sure that this restaurant will completely let them down and ruin your evening. Incredibly careless staff and zero quality control. Never again. If I can I will do bad reviews everyday because I didn't expect how they deal with customers. 🤮🤮🤮🤮👎👎👎👎

Ordered the BBQ platter. Good portion and decent tasting. The first time I ordered it, there was a mess up but the owner went above and beyond to make it up to us. Good customer service.

I ordered food from Fahad Restaurant in Calgary through an online order, and on the very first bite I felt something hard in my mouth. When I took it out, it was a sharp broken piece of glass. I was extremely lucky my tongue wasn’t cut and there could easily have been smaller pieces in the food. This is a very serious safety issue. When I called the restaurant the same day, they picked up and hung up the call. The next day I was able to speak with them, but they seemed to take it lightly and didn’t believe the issue. Very disappointing experience.

Very disappointed. The food is OK. But restaurant was dirty. Dirty walls, dirty bathroom. I have no complaints but the worst customer service. The server did not smile at all. I have to go to the counter to ask for the table. Secondly, nobody came to take our order then I call somebody that we are ready to order. After that, once the food is served, we were left unattended. Nobody came to ask about the food or anything else we needed. Additionally, the worst thing happened when I was paying. No tip option showed on merchant machine. I asked the server, that how do I pay a tip? It’s not showing me to add the tip to my payment and she said that you can pay cash for TIP. This is question mark for the owners to understand what’s happening them.
