I visited Mary Brown’s on May 11 around 10:30 PM and wanted to leave feedback about my experience. First, I want to recognize the younger employee working in the back who was wearing a hat and red lipstick. She was extremely kind, enthusiastic, and welcoming throughout the visit. Even though it seemed like it had been a long shift, she still maintained a positive attitude, smiled at customers, and genuinely made the environment feel friendly. She deserves recognition for her customer service. Unfortunately, my experience with the employee at the front counter was much different. She had long hair in a ponytail and was wearing a hairnet. While placing my order, I changed my mind briefly about the number of Spicy Mary sandwiches I wanted, but I finalized the order by clearly asking for two. After that, her tone became noticeably impatient and dismissive. At one point, she commented about me changing my mind too much, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Later, when ordering taters, I noticed gravy had been added to the order and charged on the screen. When I mentioned that I did not want gravy, I initially felt brushed off and told it did not come with gravy, despite the charge clearly appearing on the screen. After checking, she realized the gravy had in fact been added and removed it, but her attitude during the interaction came across as irritated and unfriendly. I understand that fast food environments can be stressful and everyone can have difficult days, but customer interactions still matter. I work in fast food as well, so I understand the pressure firsthand. I was originally planning to leave a full five-star review because of the positive atmosphere created by the younger employee, but the interaction at the front counter unfortunately changed the overall experience. I also want to make it clear that I am not leaving this review to get anyone in trouble or to cause anyone to lose their job. I simply hope this can be taken as constructive feedback and used as a learning opportunity moving forward. Everyone has rough days, and I truly just hope this experience helps improve future customer interactions. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because the younger employee truly provided excellent service and deserves appreciation.

I come here all the time, however the last two times I came I’ve had very bad experiences. Not sure if it’s due to new staff or just poor management, but they don’t give out food orders in the order that people come, the last time I was here there was a big argument between a customer and staff about this, the staff didn’t care at all. There were maybe 20 ppl waiting for their food inside. I also always order on the phone so I don’t have to wait, however these last 2 times they didn’t have my food ready and instead started making the food after I came in and paid… despite calling them to make an order 20 mins before coming. Very bad service and I’ll stop coming to this location now.

I found this tag like the one in the photo I’ve attached on the sandwich i purchase a while ago, My 12 yr son almost choked on it, which was incredibly distressing for us. I believe it’s important to address this issue for the safety of your customers.

I always order from Mary Brown’s Chicken, and they never disappoint! Every time, they follow my instructions perfectly, which I really appreciate. The food is always fresh, hot, and tastes amazing. Customer service is on point, and they clearly pay attention to detail. It’s my go-to spot whenever I’m craving chicken. Highly recommend!
