The location was in good condition clean and other wise well kept. Prompt service. Food tasted good, chicken was juicy and coke was cold. However, all items were served “warm” and especially for the chicken, there was no way it came out of the deep fryer recently but also maybe not cold enough to have been under the heat lamp. The strawberry pie was kept in the warmer, which honestly doesn’t bother me except it was not warm enough. With that said everything tasted fine - this could be a 4 or even 5 star location if they turn up the heat a little for everything. Also, the Cajun fries were pretty boring and for me didn’t even feel like there was even any Cajun on it, but the seasoning you could detect was in fast tasting good anyway. The Louisiana hot sauce packets are not hot in any way and taste very sugary - I personally disliked the hot sauce in so many ways to describe. Glad it was on the side. With all that said this place is still a fine place to enjoy a meal, if they optimize some of the feedback here and in other reviews it really does have the ability to improve from good to great location.

9:30 on a Wednesday. Bathrooms locked, chicken sitting under warming lights, Floor mats rolled up in the corner, half the restaurant closed off by chairs. Even the garbage cans had covers on them???I Thought they might be closing soon so I asked the manager. No we are open until 11:00 pm. She put my food in a bag, despite saying three times I don’t require a bag as I will be eating in. Unreal. They couldn’t care less. Chicken was ok…. I won’t be back. Perhaps it’s better during business hours?

On January 20, 2025, at approximately 6:45 p.m., I visited your location and ordered the same food items I regularly purchase. Unfortunately, my experience that evening was very disappointing and concerning, particularly regarding food safety practices. As someone who previously worked in a fast-food chain, I am well aware of the importance of strict food safety standards, including proper monitoring of holding times and adherence to Alberta’s Food Regulation and safe food handling requirements. These rules exist to protect customers and must always be followed. When I received my strawberry pie, I immediately noticed that something was not right. As shown on the strawberry pie box, the holding time was clearly marked as “6,” which indicated that the product was no longer safe to serve. In addition, the pie itself was already hard and not hot, further suggesting that it had exceeded its holding time and should have been discarded. I calmly and politely approached the cashier to inform them that the strawberry pie was no longer okay to serve. Shortly after, another cashier approached me and insisted that the marking was a “9,” not a “6.” I respectfully disagreed, as the marking was clearly written as “6,” and the condition of the food supported this. I felt uncomfortable because instead of acknowledging the concern or apologizing, it appeared that staff were attempting to deny or misrepresent the issue. I was not seeking conflict or compensation—only a sincere apology and accountability. Serving food past its holding time is a serious food safety concern and puts customers at risk. Under Alberta health and food safety regulations, food that exceeds approved holding times must not be served to the public. I am bringing this matter to your attention so management can be made aware and take immediate action to retrain staff on proper food safety procedures, honesty with customers, and professional customer service. I also believe this issue should be known by the appropriate health authorities to ensure that food safety standards are consistently followed. I hope this concern will be taken seriously to prevent similar incidents in the future and to ensure the safety and trust of your customers.

The ladies on staff are all dolls, so so sweet and always amazing at their jobs. Everyone working there honestly are perfect. In my opinion, as far as “fast food” is concerned , Popeyes has the best of it. Xoxo

Don't bother placing an online order at this location. I have, several times, and they only drop the food when you arrive at the restaurant. So always a 10 - 20 min. wait. I complained about this today when they offered me a free pop. 30 cents. I said how about a free piece of chicken while I wait? Everything they had on the racks was dried out they told me. Then after 15 minutes I got the order I placed 25 minutes prior and they told me they gave me a piece of free chicken. Nice try, get organized, get your stuff together, and treat your customers with the respect they deserve.
