We visited Chaiiwala of London today around lunch time and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The portion sizes were extremely small for the price. The desserts were very dry and did not taste fresh. The croissant channa masala was especially concerning- the channa tasted sour. The cheese sandwich also had an off taste, like the cheese had absorbed smells from vegetables stored nearby. To make matters worse, we ended up with upset stomachs after eating there. The only thing we enjoyed was the kadak chai. Overall, the food quality did not match the pricing, and we left very disappointed.
We had a great experience! You can go to any coffee or tea shop and have the same slop and things cooked for you from a box with no quality. Finally we have our new regular caffeine fix! This place is amazing. Drinks are all good, food quality is amazing. Worth every dollar over competitors. I would recommend this place to anyone. If you have not tried it yet then I recommend at least come have a good drink, taste the food. You will not be disappointed!
Popped in for a snack,I am completely unfamiliar with this cuisine but the photos and reviews looked so good. I was excited to try, the staff were wonderful helping me figure out what to order and everything was absolutely delicious I got the Desi Indian Breakfast and everything was so fresh and flavorful. The chai is absolutely next level. The atmosphere is so beautiful and calm. Will absolutely be back can't wait to try more. It was also very well priced. An affordable gem is so rare. Thank you for a wonderful treat.
Was excited to try this place again. The chai drinks were amazing however the desserts were old and spoiled. The pistachio cake tasted stale and like it had been sitting in a refrigerator for months. They replaced it with a cheesecake that I could not even cut with a fork and that also tasted absolutely horrible. We had to spit it out. The falooda shake has no taste and the shakarkandi was stale and watery. Perhaps the restaurant has expanded into a food niche that they are not ready for. Just stick to the chai!
Had a great experience at Chaiiwala of London. The food and chai were fresh and flavorful, and the overall atmosphere was really nice. Muskaan provided friendly and attentive service, which made the visit even better. Would definitely recommend this place!
