I Always have bad experiences when I order from here and tonight might have been my worst night. I ordered a chicken sandwich meal and everything looked fine untill I opened the bag which had my fries to find them all just thrown in a bag without a care for anything and quite literally only maybe 30% the amount of fries a normal Popeyes gives me. When I tried speaking to a worker about it she looked at me like I was confused and was speaking nonsense and she just laughed at me claiming “ they always serve it like that which is just completely false and an uncalled for lie. Honestly I really expect better from management and I can’t keep justifying these horrible experiences at this location

I’m really disappointed with my recent experience at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. We were asked to wait 15 minutes, which I didn’t mind at first because I was expecting fresh, good-quality food. But when we finally got our order, the chicken pieces were all noticeably small—honestly looked more like wings than the regular cuts you’d expect in an 8-piece. It wasn’t just one piece either… all of them were small and not juicy at all. On top of that, the biscuit was just thrown inside the same box as the chicken, which made everything feel messy and poorly handled. I’m currently pregnant and was really craving a good Popeyes meal, so this was extra disappointing. I was expecting the usual quality, especially after waiting, but this didn’t meet expectations at all. Hoping this was just a one-time issue, but definitely not a great experience.

So, I have been to Popeye for so long, almost in every location in Calgary and was always happy with my money spent here. My favourite location is the one by Aviation Blvd. Today I went to the one at Sunridge, ordering 4 pieces combo and some turnovers. And this is for the first time inmy life I think I bought fried pigeon, instead of chicken, or is this chicken kid-size 🤦‍♀️ not only all the chicken size in tiny but the butter is not fresh and crunch my as always, yeah pretty disappointed with this location. I’m still gonna go to Popeye but not the Sunridge location for sure.

I don’t mind waiting for my order, especially when a restaurant is busy. My issue was that I was told it would take 10 minutes, but I ended up waiting more than 30 minutes. After the initial 10 minutes had passed, I checked in and was told, “2 more minutes please.” Unfortunately, my order didn’t arrive until roughly another 20 minutes later. Delays happen, and that’s completely understandable. However, it’s important not to set expectations that can’t realistically be met. Had I been given a more accurate estimate, I could have managed my expectations and spent the time sitting down instead of standing nearby waiting. What was most disappointing was the lack of communication and acknowledgment of the delay. A simple update or even a quick “sorry for the wait” would have gone a long way and would have made the experience a little bit better

If I could put zero I would. We ordered for takeout of 10pcs chicken. I stated 2 spicy and the rest regular. When we opened the box at home, it contains 8 spicy and 2 regular. I called the store to let them know about my complain, the worker gave the phone to the “manager” the “manager” keeps on insisting that I said 2 regular and 8 spicy. She doesn’t listen while I’m talking and she keeps on talking at the same time that I’m talking and she also keeps on insisting that I said 2 regular and 8 spicy which I clearly didn’t. I even told her that I’m confident that they review the cctv to check. I got mad because she keeps on insisting and talking while I’m talking. She wanted us to come back but we live 18mins away and that was supposed to be our dinner and we have a child that’s also going to eat and no one in my family eats spicy aside from me. The worst part, that said “manager” ended the call and when I tried to call again multiple times they didn’t answer. See how disrespectful that is? coming from a manager??? We won’t be back to this location and I would surely tell our whole relatives to don’t ever go to this location. Very disappointing that you guys appointed a manager like that. Also, train your workers better. I’ve had experience working in customer service and you can’t just end the call while a customer is complaining at you. I never leave a review on google especially a complain but this experience is worth to share.
