We had an incredible meal at Ginsoy Calgary and everything hit the mark. Started with the beef gyoza and chicken dumplings—both perfectly pan-fried with crispy bottoms and juicy, flavourful fillings. The dynamite shrimp was next-level: crispy, saucy, and addictive. For drinks, the mint mocktail and blue lagoon mocktail were refreshing and beautifully balanced—great non-alcoholic options that still felt special. The chicken corn soup was comforting and full of flavour, while the beef chili brought the perfect amount of heat and richness. Manchurian shrimp was bold and tangy, and the kung pao chicken with fried rice was the highlight for us—tender chicken, that classic spicy-sweet-savoury balance, and perfectly cooked fried rice. Generous portions, consistent quality across every dish, and attentive service. Ginsoy completely delivered. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

Amazing restaurant I do not experience such Chinese restaurant before the food quality and quality is amazing as compared to the price. The management is super good. We might have to book the table. Do not come without looking because you might have to wait a lot. It was Monday and there was a line and I was refused by the person, but I got lucky that somebody gave me the table and it was amazing. Awesome experience now I will go back to Toronto. I will try that with my family as well.

I made the reservation a week in advance and even called twice to reconfirm—just to be safe. Everything went exactly as planned. Our food arrived within 20 minutes, perfectly timed and served in the sequence we had requested. The quality and taste were outstanding, with just the right level of spice. You could really tell the chef paid attention to every detail—everything was cooked to perfection. Definitely worth the hype and the wait. Highly recommend!

So finally today we went to Ginsoy Pakistani Chinese Restaurant and tried different kind of dishes. Every dish was packed with so much flavour and cooked perfectly, also feel and tasted very fresh. You can really tell they care about quality and presentation. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. We love their dynamite chicken,Chang's dynamite appetizer and hot and sour white soup . Then chicken fried rice, chicken chowmain, dry beef chillies and kung pao chicken for main course all were so on point. The service truly made the experience stand out. The servers were so efficient, attentive, and organized everything came out smoothly and right on time.Not only food was fresh ,delicious and beautifully presented, but also had such a positive environment and friendly energy there. Would highly highly recommend.

We called last minute to reserve a table for iftar, but unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked. The receptionist kindly mentioned that she would call back if any space became available, and we were pleasantly surprised when she followed through. We were able to come in shortly after and were seated right away. Despite how busy the restaurant was, the service remained attentive and welcoming. The staff were very polite and accommodating. At times, they did come by the table quite frequently to ask if we needed anything or if we wanted takeaway boxes while we were still eating. Some additional training on table service and managing space while serving dishes would likely enhance the experience further, as one of the servers appeared to be struggling slightly with that. Nevertheless, everyone was friendly and clearly trying their best. The ambiance was clean, lively, and comfortable. During our visit, the team was setting up the buffet for the following day. While it looked well prepared, the buffet layout appeared somewhat tight, and a bit more space around it might make it easier for guests to move around comfortably. The food itself was excellent. We ordered the hot and sour soup, dynamite chicken, chow mein, and egg fried rice. It was refreshing to enjoy authentic Pakistani Chinese flavors, something we had not experienced in quite some time. What stood out most was the evident effort the owners have put into the restaurant. From the decor and presentation to the quality of the food and attention to detail at the table, it is clear they are striving to create a high-quality dining experience. One of the biggest challenges for many Pakistani restaurants is maintaining consistency over time, even after early success. Hopefully Ginsoy will continue to uphold these standards, as it has strong potential to become a go-to destination for Pakistani Chinese cuisine compared to other competitors.

This was my first time visiting Gibsoy for celebrating my birthday, and I had a great experience! The food was delicious, especially the fried items😋they were perfectly crispy. I really enjoyed my meal. The mocktails were also very tasty and refreshing. I would definitely come back again.
