I used to buy chicken wings from this place regularly, but my latest experience was extremely disappointing. First, more than half of the order didn’t even look like chicken wings. Many pieces looked more like small drumsticks than actual wings, which wasn’t what I paid for. The bigger issue was the quality. While eating them, I could clearly tell there was a noticeable difference between the pieces. Some tasted fresh, while others had an old, stale flavor and a strange aftertaste. Whether it was the chicken itself or something in the preparation, the inconsistency was obvious enough that I couldn’t enjoy the meal. Customers can absolutely tell the difference. The spice level is another ongoing problem. Every time I order, it’s a gamble. Sometimes it’s perfectly seasoned, and other times it’s overwhelmingly spicy. There seems to be no quality control or consistency. Businesses often assume customers won’t notice when standards start slipping, but they do. Most people simply don’t say anything—they just stop coming back. If your business starts losing customers, it’s worth asking whether inconsistent quality is the reason. I genuinely hope the owners take this as constructive criticism because consistency and quality are what keep customers coming back. Right now, based on my experience, I can’t recommend this place.

Fantastic Whole Lamb Experience! We recently ordered a whole lamb from Savanna Meat & Takeout. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The ordering process was seamless, with clear communication. The lamb was served on a bed of biryani rice with potatoes, french fries and salad. The meat was succulent and flavorful, making for a memorable dining experience for our family and friends. We were amazed by the quality and freshness. It was evident that great care had been taken in selecting and preparing the meat. We received numerous compliments on the tenderness and taste of the lamb, with many asking where we had sourced it from. Most importantly there was no unpleasant smell of lamb meat. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff. They are flexible with the order to suit your needs. Gave me extra biryani because the first time I bought was spicy for me. Their portions are good and prices are cheap. They serve the best fish fillets in Calgary. Strongly recommend them.
