The buns are incredibly soft, and the cheese is the best I’ve ever had in a burger, they were not those American cheese slices that you can get from Walmart for a dollar, but melted cheese from a cheese wheel. The owner is very sociable and friendly! But I think next time I’ll try the simplest burger on the menu. This time I ordered the Honey Dragon burger, even though all the ingredients were high quality, the combination just felt too fancy to me, and it was a waste of such a great beef patty.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely amazing food! The Egyptian burger was delicious, full of flavor, and perfectly made. Everything tasted fresh, and the whole experience was great. You can tell they put effort and passion into their food. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great burger. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🍔🔥
Incredible local gem! I was recommended to try this place and they were right about how good it is. The quality of the ingredients really stands out and the burgers are really made with care. The chicken was tender and juicy. The burger patty was cooked perfectly. I loved how the blue cheese burger had actual rich blue cheese flavor (it's definitely not for beginners). The truffle fries had a rich sauce that paired well with the thick cut crunchy fries. The place was clean and the decor was super charming. I loved how clearly the menu is laid out on the wall. The owner greeted us and was very welcoming. I highly recommend Meltro for a satisfying burger. Will be coming again!
Hands down, one of the best burgers I’ve had in my life. My daughter and I, (both always on the hunt for the ultimate burger), took the advice from the server and had the Honey Dragon Burger. Perfect amount of spice and PACKED with flavour. The server sort of insisted we take some poly gloves to eat with… seemed odd at first, but then I saw why. There’s so many ingredients on one burger, it allowed me to enjoy my messy burger without having to put it down and wipe my hands every five seconds. Price may seem high when you first read it, but when you see what goes in between the bun, there’s no question the value is there. We sat at the bar in front of the food prep. I’m pretty sure I was chatting with the owner, gushing with pride… rightfully so. Top marks! I’m coming back soon!
Just as others say, amazing food and service. Establishment is clean and you can tell the staff care a lot about the place. Will be back
This place genuinely might be THE BEST burger place in calgary. the 2 owners (I'm guessing) were so warm and friendly gave excellent recommendations(hot honey) and encouraged you to eat in store. there were a pleasure to be around. I WILL be returning

I recently visited Meltro Burgers and was unfortunately served a burger that was noticeably undercooked. When I brought it to the staff's attention, I was told, “Oh, you wanted it well done? We usually cook it that way. I'll make you a new one.” I appreciated that they offered to replace the burger, but I was disappointed by the lack of acknowledgment or apology for the issue. What made it more confusing was that my husband's burger was cooked properly, so it seemed inconsistent. I'm not sharing this to badmouth the business, but simply to provide honest feedback based on my experience. I hope this can help improve quality control and customer service moving forward.
In the process burger hopping, decided try Meltro Burger and although less crowd than other burger spots this place exceeded all expectation with an amazing burger. We had the Meltro Majesty, with douple patty and added bacon. Heads up everything is made from scratch including the bun. All I can say is wow, and dont forget the secret sauce.
I’m from Los Angeles and was visiting Calgary. I’ve lived in several different states in the U.S., so I’d like to think I know a good burger when I taste one. This place absolutely nails it. The beef patty is incredible, the bun is perfect, and the sauce is amazing. It reminds me of a blend of McDonald’s signature sauce and Korea’s classic bulgogi burger—but in a much more refined, gourmet way. If you can handle it, definitely go with the double patty. You won’t regret it. Please open a location in Los Angeles—I would be there all the time!
Tried Meltro Burger recently and really enjoyed it. The burger was flavorful, fresh, and had a great halal option. The only thing I noticed was that it was a little drier than some of the other well-known halal burger spots I've tried. Still, the taste was good, the portions were satisfying, and I'd definitely come back to try more from the menu. Overall, a solid burger experience!

Burger restaurant at 601 17 Avenue SW where everything on the menu is halal, bacon included, and the Alberta beef is ground in house. It bakes its own brioche buns too.
What to order
The Meltro Majesty, a double patty, is the one to order, and bacon is a good add-on. Have it with the truffle fries.
