Mary Brown's is normally great. But this is the second time I've purchased a Big Mary and taters which both tasted like old heavy grease. I'm not sure if they had been refried, or the oil hadn't been changed in a while. Also, some of the lettuce was rotten. It's sad. Mary Brown's used to be very reliable. The one time I purchased on site the team were great. I love the mural from St. John's. But this location has now twice served me awful food. I threw out today's order. (See pic.)

Updated - second visit: Dropped to 3 stars after visiting a second time and getting a very disappointing chicken sandwich. The chicken wasnt fresh / juicy and where's the lettuce and sauce? Poor presentation and taste, waste of money. 1st visit : Tried the new Mary Brown’s location at Northland and ordered The Batter’s Box (best for your buck, 6 peices of fried chicken, fries, gravy and 2 biscuits for $22.99). Everything else (besides the chicken burgers) are way overpriced at Mary Browns. The chicken and fries were served hot and fresh, which was great. However, the chicken thigh pieces seemed alot smaller and not as juicy/ flavorful compared to what I usually get at the Creekside or Country Hills locations. The the girl working in the kitchen was arguing with the front desk staff about my order infront of me so that made the visit feel a bit uncomfortable. On the bright side, the location does have indoor seating available.

I don’t why two burgers would take more than 20 mins to complete. I understand it was busy but why other people’s order were done so fast even some people came later than me but they received their order earlier than mine. Moreover they didn’t do any thing for me after I complained about my situation, all they had done was giving me a dirty look. Last but not least, for my spicy big mary they even forgot to put lettuce in my sandwich! Won’t be back again to this place.

Great service, honestly one of the best we kind of missing this good seven in Calgary. The lady brought me wedges potatoes for free because the order is being made fresh and I had to wait for 15 min Great staff!

This is our first experience at MB, it’s simply amazing, especially that Arsh & Harpreet made it so much more enjoyable than expected. They were so warm and welcoming, helped us get our order fast. The food is super yummy. The place is clean and we will definitely come back for more.
