We definitely got a bit carried away and ordered way too much, but no regrets because everything was worth trying. Overall, a great experience and I’d 100% recommend this place. Solid 10/10 and will definitely be back again!
Great food, friendly staff, and probably the best Mediterranean in the NE. The Family and Friend Platters are great value for large groups to sit and share and visit. Highly recommend.
Went twice to this restaurant and both times were as bad as you can imagine. Food is not fully cooked both times, I understand that beef can sometimes be medium well but chicken not at all because it can easily get Salmonella.
This was my first time visiting this location, and I had an amazing experience! The food was great, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service. Sohail, the person who was assisting us, went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. He was constantly going from table to table, checking on customers and making sure everything was perfect. He came to our table several times to ensure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our experience. As a business owner I truly believe Sohail has the skills and qualities of an excellent supervisor or manager. His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for customer satisfaction were outstanding. He clearly understands what great customer service is all about.
Welcome to Anatolia. Walk into a beautifully Turkish decor with the rugs and teapots and little knickknacks. We had dinner and it was sufficient and tasty. I could even pack two boxes of leftovers. We ordered the family platter for four served with rice, tzatziki, hummus and even a large glass of Turkish tea to perfectly wash it down with. Friendly staff and a very well kept restaurant. I didn’t take pictures but they have a small essential store at the back. When I need fresh lamb chops or labneh, hummus, garlic sauce I buy them from Anatolia. Please visit, eat and shop here.
A lot of people recommended it, but I feel it’s a little bit overrated
It is not fancy, but definitely one of the best food you could ever had in Calgary.

We were visiting Calgary and decided to have dinner at Anatolia Turkish Restaurant, and I'm so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. It's a great place to come with your family, enjoy a relaxed meal, and experience genuine Turkish hospitality. Lots of parking, which made the visit even more convenient. If you're in Calgary and looking for authentic Turkish food, I highly recommend Anatolia Turkish Restaurant. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the city!
As visitors from Texas, we had a wonderful experience at Anatolian Turkish Restaurant. The food was delicious, authentic, and full of flavor. We especially appreciated for the complimentary Turkish tea.:) We highly recommend this restaurant and would gladly visit again if we come back here Calgary.
Authentic and deeply flavorful Turkish cuisine! All the meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Nothing was overcooked/dried and each types of meat had its own natural flavor. The environment is lively and give you a taste of the rich Turkish culture. Price is also very reasonable and the portions are generous. Will come again! Added bonus: take out boxes was also self serve and free!

What to order
On a first visit, order the mixed grill platter to try several kinds of kebab in one sitting. For a group, the family and friend platters are built for sharing. The family platter for four comes with rice, tzatziki, hummus and Turkish tea, and diners say it is great value for a large table. Portions are generous, so order with care.
Good to know
Leftovers are easy to pack, and takeout boxes are self-serve and free. A small grocery at the back sells lamb chops, labneh, hummus and garlic sauce if you want to take some home. There is plenty of parking, a kids menu, and the room suits family dinners and relaxed meals. Diners describe the restaurant as well kept and the staff as attentive, and visitors from out of town say the food tastes authentic and the Turkish tea is a lovely touch.
