from GoogleI really appreciate that they do grilled and fried chicken. Huge piece of tender chicken. The fries are seasoned well and you get way more if you eat in. They are kind of slow so be prepared to wait. Also the ice tea tastes terrible.
Update: Sharing pictures of dirty fries orders from two different days. They started to shrink the portions. Loved their dirty fries. Had to go back and will definitely visit again. Awesome chicken burger as well.
Small chicken shop on 10th. I tried the Korean fried chicken (I got the grilled). The food is quite good, they add a lot of sauce but otherwise food is tasty. The bowl comes with rice, kale and a salad mix and then on top a small chicken breast. I would love to try other bowls from here
Overall not bad, had a few mix-ups with our order but we were too hungry to care. Had ordered the fried KFC as a bowl but got a sandwich instead, as well ordered the fired truffle mushroom but got a grilled truffle mushroom bowl instead. Chicken was a little dry, but was saucy enough that it was ok overall. The bowl is not bad but could be a little more truffle flavoured. I could understand it if they were more busy but it seems like there was only 3 orders (including ours) at the time.
They have really nice food here. I recommend the KFC Korean. Fried chicken and.Zubair and aryan is very chill and nice and they give me a free drink. I definitely recommend this place. Best sandwich I’ve ever had in town.

Food tasted good. i got the korean fried chicken sandwich with fries and the house lemonade. The sandwich was pretty nice, but i felt that for the price, the fries were lacking and the lemonade was not the best tasting. The smell of the fry oil was also very strong in the restaurant. The service was great, though. They were very kind and put hard work into our food. I also love the restaurant’s design and branding. Would order a burger from here again for sure.

we had their og pekko in a brioche bun and kfc bowl, both were really yum! Their fries and that dip esp hit the spot. also had their cheesecake with caramel sauce. loved that! Definitely a satisfying meal. Would happily order again! a special shoutout to the service. one of the best! 💯
Got the jerk chicken bowl and it was packed with flavour. Service was top-tier, super friendly and took the time to explain the menu and sauces. The homemade lemonade (no pic 😭) was an awesome touch. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu!
About Pekko
Chicken shop on 10 Street NW in Kensington, where all the food is certified halal. The menu runs from Korean fried chicken to Nashville hot and Jamaican jerk, and sandwiches and bowls both come with a choice of grilled or fried chicken.
What to order
The Pekko Bowl is the most-ordered item: basmati rice, kale salad and smoked corn salad, with your choice of chicken on top. The OG Pekko in a brioche bun is a good sandwich, and the Korean fried chicken comes with plenty of sauce. Diners also praise the jerk chicken bowl for its flavour, and the homemade lemonade and the cheesecake with caramel sauce are worth finishing with.
Before you order
It is a small shop, and the food is worth the short wait. Eating in gets you more fries than takeout. Check your order before you leave, so everything is just as you chose. The staff are friendly and happy to explain the sauces.
