I never enjoyed any Mary Brown’s Chicken I ever visited in Toronto, but after moving to Calgary and finding this spot my mind completely changed! This is the cleanest facility, well maintained and managed restaurant I been too! Mo the owner is a gentleman and a scholar, he made sure everything was done perfectly and ensured our visit was satisfactory. Will be visiting only this location moving forward, very happy I decided to give Mary Brown’s another chance, because this location turned me into a loyal customer.

The chicken was surprisingly good fresh and juicy. I want to give it another try some other time too. Update: ordered delivery for their original sandwich and it wasn’t good. I did do pickup some other time and it was good like before.

Ordered takeout 30 minutes prior to arriving. When I get to the restaurant and ask the server they see my order but it looks like they missed it and just start making it then. About another 30 minutes later I get my order. They ran out of crispy chicken twist ($4.69) so they just substitute with 2 biscuits. My chicken combo already had 2 biscuits. It would have been nice if they had asked what I would like instead of just giving me the lowest value item at the store and at least giving me something comparable in value. Overall, a frustrating experience for me. There are a lot of other fried chicken restaurants in Calgary.

I ordered delivery. The food was cold like its been sitting there all day, which was not normal. It was supposed to buy one get one free. Didn't get the deal. The driver dropped it at the door no knock at all. This was the worst Mary brown i have ever had.. not happy with the restaurant service and delivery service.

The smallest pieces of dry chicken I have ever had. Even the dry/raw wedges are bigger. For $20 go to KFC. Edit: the guy got super cocky when I mentioned that the wedges were raw and he said "super convenient you ate a tender before complaining about the meal." The guy rang his manager and they said they'd refund the wedges, but insisted they are fried twice, i.e. left out to dry if they haven't been eaten fresh and then refried to warm them up. The guy had an attitude and gave us the refund all in quarters and said, "you can take your tray and get rid of your trash on the way out." This was clearly out of spite considering they had loonies and toonies in the register. My partner and I just finished a shift at the hospital and wanted something quick to eat without hassle. I would highly recommend you avoid this place.
