from GoogleI recently had the opportunity to order door dash delivery from a local eatery where I was staying for a few days at a hotel, and I must say that their Donair and chicken shawarma were exceptional. The food was consistently fresh, and the flavors were outstanding, reminiscent of the authentic Donair Kebabs and shawarma I enjoyed during my time living in Europe. Given the exceptional quality, I highly recommend this establishment, likely the best in Calgary. If I return to Calgary, this will undoubtedly be my preferred destination for Donair and shawarma. Congratulations on maintaining such high standards, it is truly commendable.
I ordered a #3 Lamb/Beef wrap for takeout. This was the worst wrap I've ever had. Literally every bite had gristle in it. I finally gave up trying to eat it and threw it away. I usually only do Google reviews for places that are exceptionally good (love giving 5 stars), but this was so bad I felt I needed to warn people.
Amazing service from the team at Shawarma Palace Falconridge. There was a miscommunication regarding a catering order that I wasn’t aware of until the day before, and Ernesto, the manager, was so kind and helpful in resolving the issue. If not for Ernesto then our event would have been ruined! Thank you so much again to the team for their flexibility, service, and delicious food!
Although this place had very nice staff, I’m still disappointed to say that the food was not good. The chicken wrap was extremely salty and the chicken was picked up from the grill (not cut from the skewer) and it felt extremely dry. Luckily the beef sandwich was better but still not prepared well and the taste was extremely questionable. The people serving were however nice and kind.
Hands down, the best shawarma I have tasted in Canada outside of Abu Dhabi. It is a definite you should go check it out meal u will never regret.
We recently ordered catering for around 100 people from this shawarma place, and everything was absolutely fantastic! The food was fresh, flavorful, and loved by everyone at the event. The shawarma was perfectly prepared, and the portions were generous. The service was just as impressive—very professional, organized, and right on time. They made the entire catering process smooth and stress-free for us. Highly recommend them for both small and large gatherings. Will definitely order again!
Shawarma palace has one of the best shawarmas in Calgary. I love their food Only thing I’d say is the management should please reinforce the use of hairnets and beard nets if possible. I found hair in my meal.
