If you are visiting Banff, you absolutely must pray at the musallah in the Banff Recreation Centre. This was hands down the most incredible Jummah experience I’ve had in my entire 26 years of life. The location itself is breathtaking—listening to the khutba while taking in the stunning, beautiful scenery of the mountains brings a whole new level of peace and reflection to the prayer. But what is even more inspiring is the dedication of this community. They have not missed a single Jummah prayer here in 10 years! That kind of consistency and devotion in a mountain town is genuinely remarkable. Whether you are a local or just passing through on a trip, do not miss the chance to pray here. The absolute best place for Jummah. May the organizers be immensely rewarded!

Prayed Jumma over there while visiting Banff. Location was very close to Banff town. It has clean washrooms and baby diaper changing station as well. Mosque is located on the third floor. Take right from the main entry door and go all the way, you will see stairs and go to the third floor. They do a amazing khutba before the Jumma prayer. Highly recommended for praying.

Had the pleasure of visiting Banff and praying Jummah here! Finding a place to pray while traveling can sometimes be challenging, but this masjid is such a welcoming blessing for the community and visitors alike. It's a beautiful, peaceful space to fulfill your prayers. Highly recommended to any Muslim travelers visiting the are.

Alhamdulillah I prayed Jumua prayer this Friday, May 15th at this location. The local brothers did a good job establishing such a beautiful musallah here at the heart of Banff. May Allah give them great rewards both in this dunya and akhirah.
