I was very happy and excited to see a restaurant with the same name as the one I ate at last month in Islamabad. The food was absolutely delicious. The spices were perfectly balanced. Food was fresh and the service was absolutely worthy of five stars. Met the owner as well and he was a gentlemen.

We were there for a wedding. Parking outside was adequate. It was spacious inside. And that's were the good stuff ends. Food was mediocre at best. Customer service was lower than average. Washrooms were a disaster - one out of the three stalls was functional, there were no paper towels and dirty like anything. Definitely not recommended!

We visited Butt Karahi yesterday around 6:30 PM. The restaurant (and banquet hall) is located inside a hotel and was entirely empty when we arrived. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who politely escorted us to a large, comfortable round table for eight. For dinner, we ordered:1/2 kg Chicken Karahi, Malai Chicken Tikka and Butter Naans. The food was quite tasty and well-balanced; it wasn't overly spicy, which allowed the actual flavors of the dishes to shine through. However, the fresh naans became hard very quickly because they were rolled out so thin. A tip for management: The primary cost of making naan is labor, while flour is incredibly inexpensive. Making the naans just a bit thicker would prevent them from drying out so quickly, keeping them soft and pliable for the duration of the meal. Overall, it was a good experience, highlighted by the delicious food and a very polite, helpful staff member. Not very busy due to its location probably. Rating: 4/5 Stars due to naans. Will I go again? Probably yes, though there are still several other new places to try out in Calgary first.

Attention needs on clealiness. On pinpointing cleanliness the manager tried to justifiy instead of practical steps. Storage in wash room is un hygenic. Coverning urinals with garbage bags looks ugly. A dine in and event vanue needs attention.Wish them to understand customer needs. They have wonderfull chef and staff but need little more to invest on house keeping.

I recently hosted a few events at Butt Karahi, and I have to say the experience was fantastic! The ambiance is absolutely beautiful, perfect for small weddings or other gatherings. Both the food and service were on point, with an authentic Lahori touch. The Butt Karahi was incredible, bursting with flavor, and the BBQ was just as delicious. There are so many other great options on the menu too! If you're looking for a place that offers a halal authentic Lahore taste, this is the spot. Highly recommend!
