We tried the dinner buffet, and it was excellent value for the price. There were plenty of delicious vegetarian options, including appetizers, fresh salads, chaat, a variety of curries, rice, pickles, and tasty desserts. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The restaurant was clean, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and it wasn't too busy, making for a relaxed dining experience. If you're looking for a good Indian buffet in Calgary, I highly recommend Taj Mahal Restaurant!

My wife and I visited Taj Mahal today, and we came away very impressed. The food was absolutely fantastic. Every dish was packed with flavor, and the portion sizes were generous. Our waitress was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, which made for a very pleasant dining experience. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will undoubtedly be returning. Highly recommended!

My family goes here from time to time for Wednesday dinner buffet, and consistency is this Indian buffet's hallmark. It does not offer the biggest selection of dishes in the city, and they do not seem to change up the kinds of dishes (outside of some vegetable items) from week to week, but the food is very delicious. Meat-wise, they offer beef curry, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, and my favorite, fish pakora. Vegetarian-focused offerings often include cauliflower, potato, spinach, paneer, and dal dishes. And the dessert pickings (fresh fruit, gulab jamun, jalebi, kheer) and sides/condiments are pretty good. On top of everything, staff are welcoming and the service is very attentive. Taj Mahal Restaurant's Wednesday dinner buffet is an excellent dining experience, and provides great value at $25 per person.

Best Buffet I have ever had! Amazing family run restaurant. The buffet Wednesdays are must go! Was visiting from Vancouver and we went there twice. Regular menu is great and authentic food! My entire family enjoyed the whole experience. The staff is amazing and welcoming. A lot of variety and great atmosphere

I ordered pickup from this restaurant on Thursday at around 8:15 PM. I ordered butter naan, chicken gravy, and chicken biryani. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The chicken in both dishes tasted stale, the gravy was unpleasant, and even the butter naan seemed old and stale. The quality of the food was far below what I expected. Based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering from this restaurant. I believe the food quality and hygiene standards should be reviewed, and I hope the appropriate health authorities inspect the restaurant to ensure it is meeting the required standards.
