Very nice spiritual vibe. Majalis e Imam e Hussain AS held in appropriate manner. Jumma and Eid prayers for gents and ladies. Every important Muslim Shia events celebrated. Ample of parking space. Comfortable halls with separate entrance for ladies and gents. Separate room for food or other activities. Sunday school’s for children separate rooms for grade 1st to 8th. Properly heated and air conditioned.

About Bab Ul Hawaij Islamic Centre of Calgary
Known for organising a large Ashura procession, Bab Ul Hawaij Islamic Centre is a Shia centre at 3025 12 Street NE in Calgary. It holds Jumu'ah and Eid prayers for men and women, has plenty of parking, and has a separate entrance and hall for ladies.
Majalis and commemorations
Majalis run through Muharram, and the centre marks the major Shia commemorations through the year. It also organises what visitors say is the largest Ashura procession in the Calgary area, and they describe the gatherings as held in a respectful, spiritual manner.
Inside the centre
The halls are comfortable, well heated and air conditioned. There is a separate room for food or other activities, and Sunday school classes for children run in separate rooms by grade. Visitors praise the volunteers and leadership for their dedication, and for helping people regardless of background.
