A neighbourhood cafe in Varsity Estates - locally roasted coffee, seasonal drinks, breakfast sandwiches, scones and a counter of protein bars and bakes, with plugs for laptops and plants in the window. Marked fully halal on the community Halal Map YYC. What to order The peanut butter protein bar and the peanut butter marshmallow graham bar have a following of their own; the egg breakfast sandwich is generous and the customised cheese melt is a regular's order. Lattes, cappuccinos and the seasonal specials are consistently good - the drip coffee less so. Matthew, the owner, donated scones to a U of C club and answered emails kindly, which tells you the sort of place it is. Good to know Daytime only: 7:30am to 5pm every day. A patio in summer; good for children and groups, vegetarian options, curbside pickup, step-free entrance, free parking. Dine in or take out. Rated 4.5 from more than 1,000 Google reviews.
