from GoogleWent there for Iftar today and they had a buffet available for $24.99/person. They had hummus, salad, steamed veggies, fish pakoras, chicken and beef kebabs, lamb and chickpea curry, kabuli pulao, naan and kheer. Everything was delicious and tasted homemade, but the lamb in particular was melt in mouth and SOOO good! The owner was very kind and we received amazing service. My only complaint would be that the bathrooms could be a little cleaner. Highly recommend checking out this family run business for an authentic Afghan or Persian meal.
Went for lunch on May 19, 2024. We ordered Kabuli Pulao and platter consist of one lamb kebab and one chicken kebab. Food was served hot and fresh and it was delicious and portions were good size too. It is family run business. Owner Saeed who also served our food was very polite, friendly and professional. Restaurant was clean and very nicely designed with Afghan culture decorations. Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic Afghan food. Lots of parking in front of the restaurant. 5 stars all the way.

I order food here and mistakenly i thought the oroce for 2 people food was 19 which was originally 49 but the litter 4 was like 1 when j realized it at the cashier i asked the owner if he can cancel and make the one was for 19 but the owner charged me $20 for that all food which was very kind of him and he was very generous i really appreciate that snd the food was very delicious and fresh i definitely visit again there also recommend my family and friends. Thank you so much !!!!!😊
Meat lovers alert.If you haven't been to Kabul Restaurant and House of Shawarma run, don't walk because you really won't be able to move after. They have a 2hr all you can eat and it works like a tasting menu where you can order any appys/mains/salads off the menu. Drinks and Desserts are extra. We tried the lamb shank, chopan kebab, Chapli , mantu and chops and I can't wait till the next weekend to go again. We didnt order any chicken because well that is basically a veggie with feathers. The service is personable and generous with trademark Persian hospitality. This is $30 that I would happily pay again. Everything was good but the Chopan kebab which are lamb chops are special. PS this is the place near Marlborough and not to be confused with the place in downtown.
There's no Kabul restaurant at this location anymore. They moved out and now there's an italian eritrean restaurant here which has amazing food and very friendly staff.
Such a fantastic find. Excellent kabobs. I especially love the fish kabobs and Kabuli rice. Highly recommend.
Simple but really good food. The Qabuli rice was sooo good. The Chapli kebab was amazing. The sauces were great. Saffron chicken was very good. The lamb soup really good too. The quality is excellent! Decor is simple and nice. Owner is nice to deal with and appreciative and friendly. I recommend!
Amazing authentic Afghan food! Everything tasted just like homemade , fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can really tell the recipes are traditional. Highly recommend if you’re craving real Afghan cuisine! 🇦🇫🍚

Halal Afghan and Persian dishes come out of this restaurant at 255 28 St SE #302 in Forest Lawn, where the owner often serves the tables himself and the kabuli pulao is the dish to start with.
The chapli kebab, saffron chicken and lamb soup are also popular, and the platter of one lamb and one chicken kebab is a common choice. Diners say the kabuli rice is excellent and the sauces are great. Portions are large and come out hot. The room is simple with Afghan decorations, so the food is the reason to come. The owner is often praised as friendly and appreciative.
Ramadan iftar
An iftar buffet is offered during Ramadan at around $25 a head, with hummus, salad, fish pakora, chicken and beef kebabs, lamb and chickpea curry, kabuli pulao, naan and kheer. It is a good way to try several dishes at once, and diners say the lamb in particular is tender and melts in the mouth.

There is parking in front of the restaurant. The room is clean and nicely designed, with Afghan culture decorations.
