Copperfield Community Centre
Reviews of Copperfield Community Centre
from GoogleA great little spot for the local community to gather in the Winter. The little starter rink out front is perfect for the little ones learning how to skate for the first time. There is a decent amount of parking here as well. There is a great depository here for clothing to give away here. Community helping community. Just a half block away is a Circle K so you can grab a coffee and warm yourself up at the park here.
The ice rink is good for Skating and There is a basketball court which can also be used as a hockey center. The only issue is that the small ice rink has a sewer so if you drop something it's gone😐
A great time at Stampede in the park.
A great spot to shoot some hoops, stroll around the pond or spend time with kids on the playground. In the summer they offer safe bicycle riding courses in the parking lot. Once every summer the parking lot sees a band and food trucks.
We have rented this hall a few times for Christmas and it's great for gatherings my only gripe would be that they need to have a stove or microwave in the kitchen. But other than that this has a very nice atmosphere for family and friends.
A good hangout for kids of all ages. There are separate play structures and swings for the younger kids but of course our toddler loves the 'big kid' play structures with a merry go round where his older brother goes. We've improved hockey skills in the winter on the outdoor rink and shot at the hoops that are set up in the summer. We just need to get together and fund a fence to keep errant shots from requiring someone to go out of the rink and go track down along the sides. Tennis courts, picnicking tables and a fire pit plus the Little Free Library box near the front door of the community center make this a great hang out. The pathway around the pond is how we usually get to and from there unless we have the hockey hauler loaded with gear and then driving and parking in the ample parking lot is required. Another favorite in the winter is sledding down the big hill and bringing skates and helmets for either the smaller skating pond or hockey on the large, lit up outdoor hockey rink.
