University of Calgary
Reviews of University of Calgary
from GoogleVisited the campus during the summer, to see where my son had stayed. Expected it to be quiet but plenty of activities taking place. Nice campus with lot of green spaces. Loved the skyward between the buildings. Cool to see the Olympic oval. Very good gift shop!
Played in a band for a stampede breakfast gig at Schulich Engineering. Friendly crowd of mostly foreign looking students and/or faculty. Lots of mosquitos after a rainy June. Very little road traffic but lots of construction in that part of the campus.
You'll be happy and satisfied to be a student in this facility. They care you well and direct the way you do better.
I took the Intensive English course at the University of Calgary during the fall/winter. The classmates and teachers were very friendly, making the learning experience enjoyable and welcoming.
The campus is large and well kept. There are many amenities available and good professors, and the institution is mainly focused on research. Your experience here will be what you make of it. It’s a safe environment for meeting people and opportunities.

Good places to have a bite to eat, clean and pleasant.
The University of Calgary campus is easy to love. It's spacious and well laid out, with plenty of green space, walking paths, and mountain views on clear days. The buildings are modern and well maintained, and it's easy to find a quiet spot to study or catch up with friends. Highlights: the MacHall food options, the library spaces, and the lively feel of the Students' Union areas. The campus is also very accessible, with LRT access and plenty of signage. Parking can be pricey and winter winds are no joke, but overall it's a welcoming, inspiring place to learn.
