Go for the bakery The oven turns out pita pies, manakish with cheese and za'atar, meat pies and fatayer through the morning. Regulars come for the baklava and the beef shawarma, with the donair wrap a close second. Samples are often offered at the counter, and there is often a free fatayer with your order. For a meal The hummus on the platters is a favourite, and the salad has a crisp, tangy pomegranate dressing. The chicken pocket and the meat kebbie are both recommended. Food comes out of the oven fresh and hot, and it is filling. Service is at the counter, so order there and take it to a table or away.
