I purchased two goat raans for Eid for $156 (very high price based on other competitors) and specifically requested that they be marinated. Unfortunately, the marination was extremely disappointing. There was no flavour, and it didn’t seem like any tenderizer had been used. I also purchased 30 marinated chicken legs, and those were equally disappointing. The lack of seasoning and flavour was noticeable across both orders. What was even more frustrating was the customer service. When we called the store to speak with the manager or owner, we were told they were busy. Before we could even explain the reason for our call or discuss our concerns, the call was ended. There was no effort made to understand the issue or help resolve it. This was my first time purchasing from this location, and based on this experience, I won’t be returning. I’ll be sticking with Madina Halal Meats, who have consistently provided quality products and excellent customer service.

We are not from Calgary but whenever we visit Calgary we definitely visit this place for fresh goat meat. Store is pretty spacious but I feel it’s a bit unorganized. The workers are pretty friendly and helpful. Location is very good and convenient. They have variety of fresh meat products. Plenty of parking available. Shop was clean and w/o any unpleasant smell.

Absolutely horrible experience. I walked in wanting to buy 1 kg of lamb shoulder. That is it, just one kilo. The guy behind the counter told me I had to buy the entire piece, which was about 3 kg. I told him clearly that I only needed 1 kg, but he refused to cut it and basically said either I take the whole 3 kg for $97 or he cannot help me. What kind of customer service is that? Not everyone needs 3 kilos of meat. Some people just want to buy a reasonable amount. Instead of helping, he was dismissive and completely unwilling to accommodate a simple request. Honestly, if you are running a butcher shop and you refuse to serve customers properly or make basic cuts, what is the point? If you cannot run a customer friendly business, maybe you should not be running one at all. Terrible service and a complete waste of time.
