Very happy with my first seafood boil experience. Not too busy on a Thursday evening so we were sat as soon as we walked in. Service was very good and quick. Servers were friendly and helpful . We went with the king crab legs and headless shrimp. We chose the captains sauce which was really good. The crab was amazing and while the shrimp tasted good they were a bit over cooked. We were disappointed that for the price of the boil we got one potato and basically one piece of corn which was maybe a half a cob, per boil. For the included sides it wasn't very much food. Overall we enjoyed the experience. It was fun to eat some messy and yummy food.

One of my must do restaurants every time I am in Calgary; Beyond the great seafood boil combos with Garlic or Captain Boil seasoning, my go-to move is scooping up the sauce left in the bags and stirring it into the fried rice. Yesterday we finally tried the lobster poutine and it did not disappoint. Then a guest of ours visiting from Quebec insisted we all try the lobster bisque after he'd had it himself, and it was a hit too.. another point worth mentioning is the delightful waiter that servwd out table yesterday..

We had an amazing experience at The Captain's Boil! You can try different seafood like Lobster, Snow Crab, Dungeness Crab, Crawfish, Shrimp, Mussels and Clams. They have a great menu of Mix & Match Seafood Feasts like Sailor’s, Matey’s, Pirate’s and Captain’s. We ordered the Pirate's Feast and chose Lobster. We had Mussels, Clams and Shrimps, The Captain’s Fried Rice (Seafood), Cajun Fries and Regular Side (Corn, Broccoli, Potato & Okra). We chose Cajun Flavour (blended variety of Cajun spice, Cayenne Pepper, Paprika etc) with Medium Spiciness ’Feelin' The Heat’. The feast tasted amazingly delicious and satisfying! The scrumptious seafood was fresh, mouthwatering and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed every bite of it!

The seafood is great and delicious especially the ordered Captain’s Platter. Restaurant location is in the outskirt of the city of Calgary. Server cautioned the possible effect of food allergens.

This was a fun interesting experience. The captain boil sauce here is quite good and is fun to have with anything really. I’m not a seafood person so i might have enjoyed it with different kind of meats or veggies but overall really good. I tried the volcano spicy level and it wasn’t that spicy. The mussels were quite good too.

Tried The Captain’s Boil out of curiosity and it was a good experience overall. We ordered mussels and shrimp and they were tasty and well cooked. We went with the very spicy level, but it wasn’t spicy for us since we have a pretty high spice tolerance! The flavors were good, though a bit too buttery (feeling greasy) for our taste. Still very enjoyable and worth trying if you’re into seafood boils. We’ll definitely come back again!
