Came here with friends. Food didn't come out all at once, but it was worth the short wait and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The Oxtail and snapper were delicious. I will definitely come back.

I went late and randomly ordered the chicken with rice dish because I wasn’t sure what to get, and it turned out so delicious! I haven’t tried the other foods yet, but the meal I had was very flavorful and fresh. Friendly service too. I definitely recommend King Solomon Kitchen and will come back again!”

Chef Jabari is fantastic at flavouring the food perfect without overpowering the spice level chicken was so tender coleslaw was fresh and crunchy just an all around great meal also had the dumplings and that was also a nice touch to the ending service was pleasant from the front to the back of house thanks!

Some of the best Jamaican food in Calgary. The meat is always tender and the rice is flavourful. I don't like how the daily specials change on a whim when they can clearly serve all three options. Also every time I come I order to stay but they give it to me in a take out container anyway so the staff need to pay attention. Great hot sauce.

Came here with buddy that recommended this place. Have never had Jamaican food or at least long enough ago to not remember. We came here later in the day and it was quiet, they were almost closing soon. We ordered the Jamaican patty to share and both ordered the oxtail meal. Sat down and food came out within reasonable time. Got the Jamaican patty first. Nice filling with lots of spice and the pastry was good. It was homemade which was nice. Next was the oxtail, WOW! talk about flavor. The oxtail was perfectly cooked, tender but not disintegrating like the most tender steak you've ever had. Flavor was incredible with a deep rich flavor and lots of unique spices. Rice and peas were good too, lots of flavor just on its own. Plantains were nice, never had them before. Coleslaw was okay, I'm not a fan of coleslaw anyways so. We ended up chatting with the owner and Chef after and before we left, he came out with fresh fried chicken and we had to try it. Nice and juicy and very well seasoned. Owner was super nice by the way, could tell he was proud of whet he did and super passionate. Will be back, still thinking about that oxtail!
