This Lamb Shank Plate was the best I’ve ever had. The lamb was juicy and tender, and the rice was excellent too, mixed with small sweet raisins that added real depth of flavor. However, the value isn’t great. $23 got me only two small pieces of lamb. Service was barely adequate. I waited in a long line to order, and once I reached the counter, the cashier was either busy with the register, on the phone, or turned away grabbing something.

We visited on July 2 for dinner and tried the Ashak, Lamb Shank Plate, and Beef Kofta Plate. The Ashak was excellent and worked very well as a starter. The Lamb Shank was also good, but compared to the Iranian version it was noticeably drier. The Kofta had a distinct, new flavor and was slightly spicy. The portions, especially the Qabuli Pulao, were very large, each serving could easily feed two people.

I normally do not write reviews but this one really deserves it IMO because it is genuinely my favourite restaurant in Calgary. The food is simply amazing and you can only tell how good it is once you try it yourself. I keep coming back here almost every week. My go-to dishes are lamb shank and chicken thigh platter with Kabuli rice and extra skewer chicken haha. Highly recommended!

We hosted my grad party here and had such an amazing time!!! The food was incredible and the staff were so so friendly and helped us out with absolutely everything. Bernard was so helpful and accommodating while setting everything up and recommending the photobooth (which was also a blast!!)
