Very disappointing experience. In my opinion, this was one of the most dishonest business interactions I have encountered in Calgary area. Promises were made but not kept, and I found the overall experience untrustworthy. If there were an option to give less than one star, I would have chosen it. I would advise others to exercise caution before doing business here. I will avoid using the word "lie," as you requested. However, I believe your response contains inaccurate information that does not reflect my actual experience. The Qurbani order was not fulfilled as discussed. I was charged more than the amount that had been agreed upon, and the quality of the cutting was far below expectations. Regarding the ground beef, while it may not have been explicitly discussed during booking, it has always been understood and expected as part of the service based on my previous experiences with other halal meat providers. Businesses such as AlNoor, YYC Halal Meat, Madina Halal Meat, and others consistently provide a much higher standard of customer service and fulfillment. I was disappointed that my concerns were not properly acknowledged. Looking back, my biggest mistake was relying solely on a friend's recommendation without first reviewing feedback from other customers. I am simply sharing my honest experience so that others can make an informed decision.

They are selling expired items , today I bought these peas and they were expired, I went home and checked the expiration date and saw that they were expired. I went back to the store, there was a lady behind the counter and I told her that this product was expired and she said no, it's okay. I used this, it will taste and smell good, but it has been expired for almost 5 months. And it was in May that I bought some flour from the store and when I opened the bag of flour inside the bag, there was worms inside the bag and I was disgusted. Please do not buy anything from this store. They are trying to sell you and your family expired items , report them please!

I had the pleasure of shopping at Savanna Market recently, and I must say, it was a great experience. The store is well-organized, and we found all the grocery items we were looking for with ease. It felt like home, especially with the wide selection of ethnic goods that we typically buy from our homeland. It’s always a relief to find familiar items that bring a taste of home, and Savanna Market did not disappoint in that regard. The highlight of our visit, however, was the meat section. Not only was the meat Halal, but it was also incredibly fresh and clean. You can tell that quality and cleanliness are top priorities here. Plus, the prices were very reasonable, which is always a bonus. Overall, I highly recommend Savanna Market for anyone looking for quality groceries, especially those seeking authentic ethnic ingredients and fresh, affordable Halal meat. A true gem in the neighborhood!

EDIT after the reply. That is the biggest lie which proves for me that you all are liars. I am not reviewing you to make anyone believe. I was simply providing you with my honest feedback. No refund needed, you had the chance to honestly tell me you did not have fresh meat. And that small piece of honestly would have landed you a solid review. Just for $36, you earned a honest bad review, and proved my point. I Want in to get meat for burgers. The gentleman with the beard welcomed I specifically asked him that no frozen meat. He assured that it’s not frozen. Then I see him taking out frozen meat. He put it under water to thaw and started to mince. He had to hammer it in. I simply asked if it’s frozen, he replied only the fat is. I did not question. At home the meat smelled old, frozen. He simply lied to my face. Sir have some respect of your beard. Lying will not get you anywhere.

So disappointed.. went there for the very first time to get yogurt and they charged me 6 dollars for one astro yogurt.. that's price gouging Edit: Please try to reflect some professionalism in your responses to negative review. You are in business and you will never be able to avoid this. But you can change it by responding in a better way instead of making the customer feel bad.
