If you’re craving authentic Karachi food, you HAVE to try Apna Karachi Kitchen! This was hands down the best Karachi food I’ve ever had. Everything was packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, and not overly spicy just absolutely delicious. We ordered the kebab platter, beef nihari, chicken karahi, paratha, and yakhani pulao, and every single dish was beyond our expectations. The taste, freshness, and quality were incredible. A special shoutout to Sara and the entire team for the amazing service. Everyone was so welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Pleaseeee open a branch in Toronto at Ridgeway Plaza we seriously can’t wait! Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Pakistani/Karachi cuisine

I ordered from them twice. Their food is amazing and very flavorful. Special platter and Dehle Beef Gola Kebab is a must try. They are super soft melt in your mouth. And the chutney 😍😍. Service is super great too. If you are a foodie, this place needs to be on your list. Would definitely recommend.

This place deserves nothing less than 5 stars! As a Karachiite, I walked in with low expectations, but I was genuinely blown away by the food. The dhaga kabab and gola kabab are easily the best I’ve had anywhere in Canada. The karhai tasted exactly like the kind you get at weddings in Karachi, and even though I’m usually not a fan of Karachi-style nihari, this one was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The flavors were so balanced, I honestly couldn’t stop eating. If you’re in Calgary and only have time to try one place for desi food, make it this one. Go without a doubt. I still can’t believe I found food this close to Karachi-level in Calgary. This place truly lives up to its name. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again, and I’ll be sending everyone I know here too. Can’t wait to welcome you guys in Toronto soon! 🎉

We ordered the special platter with biryani rice (plain rice) which was decent, white chicken karahi— average taste, til wali naan and a lachha paratha through Uber Eats. The restaurant had an offer on the app—a free mango custard if the total is $40 or more. I’m attaching the photos below, the custard has clearly gone bad. I threw it right away. This is absolutely disappointing and disgusting. I wish I could get a refund but I can only warn my fellow Calgarians.
