Amazing customer service. The owner assured me that the lamb biryani was going to blow me away, and it did not disappoint! The meat wasn't too chewy or stringy, and any gameyness that could have been present was well masked by their impressive use of herbs and spices. It had a pleasant amount of spice that made itself known the more I ate, but that never overstayed its welcome. All in all, this restaurant might very well have one of the best price to quality ratios I have encountered in the city and I cannot recommend it more!
Outstanding Experience at Great Canadian Pizza 16th Ave NW We recently placed a large order from Great Canadian Pizza 16th Ave NW for a family gathering at home, and I honestly don’t have enough good words to describe how amazing the entire experience was from food quality to customer service. Let me start with the pizza, because it truly deserves special praise. We ordered several varieties, including the Dinner Pizza and the BBQ Chicken Pizza, and I can confidently say these were the best pizzas I have ever had in my life. The crust was perfectly cooked, the toppings were generous and fresh, and the flavor was absolutely outstanding. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into making their pizzas. Next, we ordered chicken wings, both breaded and non-breaded. The wings were large, meaty pieces, cooked to perfection. They were crispy on the outside and incredibly soft and juicy on the inside, which is not easy to achieve. Every single wing was delicious, and everyone at the gathering loved them. We also ordered Butter Chicken, and honestly, this was a highlight of the entire meal. It was rich, flavourful, and perfectly balanced not too spicy, not too mild. Without exaggeration, it was the number one butter chicken we have eaten in Calgary. The coconut rice was aromatic and fluffy, and the butter naan was fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. The combination was perfect. In addition, we tried the donair and chicken shawarma, and both were equally impressive. The meat was well-seasoned, tender, and full of flavor, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Finally, I must mention the customer service, which was truly unbelievable. The delivery driver brought the food right to our door, was extremely polite, respectful, and professional, and made the whole experience even better. It’s rare these days to see such excellent service. Overall, Great Canadian Pizza 16th Ave NW exceeded our expectations in every way. Amazing food, generous portions, top-quality taste, and outstanding customer service. A big thank you to the entire team we will definitely be ordering again and highly recommend this place to everyone.
Prices for the food are amazing especially for the quantity! Delicious as well. I always get the chicken curry, biryani and their pastas. Customer service is always top notch.
I grabbed a slice of a Veggie Pizza from Great Canadian Pizza 16 Ave NW SAIT location and I was honestly surprised by the quality for the price. It was only $7, and the pizza was fresh, hot, and loaded with vegetables. The crust was perfectly baked and the cheese tasted great. I also loved their Crispy Chicken Wings. Its tasty, crispy and flavourful! I really appreciate that they offer halal options, which gives me peace of mind when ordering. It’s hard to find good quality halal pizza at such an affordable price. The service was fast and friendly, and my order was ready on time. The staff are friendly, always willing to explain the menu and the restaurant is clean! Customer service is top notch! For $7 for a full small size pizza, this is one of the best deals in the city. Highly recommended — I will definitely be coming back!
