This was our first shwarma experience & this location scored a touch down & ran in the extra points!! This quality, quantity & value earned them all the stars. The staff was smiling & welcomed us like family.. The extra points were reached by complimentary additional samosas as we left. We ordered them, expecting to pay as they were light, full & tasty but.. Smiles & parting waves met our attempts to settle up. I am only holding out one point for atmosphere as it is a takeout vibe and could be a bit better painted and up-keep to the facilities. They are very clean, just aging. Feed a family on a budget with gourmet offerings! #survivalinstructor

HORRIBLE LOCATION On Sunday Dec 7, 2025 at 06:30 PM me and my wife had an extremely horrible experience at this location. I truly want to support small businesses, but customers deserve respect for what they pay. This restaurant needs to seriously reconsider its standards, because the way the food was served felt careless, disorganized, and far from acceptable. The portion we specifically paid extra for was simply ignored. Instead of receiving what we ordered, the plate came with random chicken pieces placed on top, as if they were trying to cover up the missing item. It felt misleading and unprofessional. As for the meat, calling it “doner” would be generous. The pieces were so oversized and uneven that it looked like someone had chopped them in a hurry without any technique. It lacked the finesse and thin slicing that define proper doner. The plating was the final disappointment. Rather than a well-composed dish, it looked like everything had been dumped onto one plate—rice, potatoes, salad, sauces, all mixed together—and then topped with meat in a careless way. For a dine-in experience, this level of presentation was shocking.

Tried Shawarma Palace Carrington for the first time today and I can see why people recommend it. I ordered delivery around lunch and the food showed up hot, which honestly surprised me because a lot of places don't travel that well. I got the chicken shawarma plate and everything was solid. The chicken wasn't dry, the rice was good, and the garlic sauce was unreal. The potatoes were probably my favorite part besides the shawarma itself. The portions were huge too, so I couldn't even finish it in one sitting. For what you get, I think the price is more than fair. I've had shawarma from a bunch of places around Calgary, and this is definitely one I'll order from again. Nothing felt cheap or like it had been sitting around for a while. You can tell they actually care about putting out good food. If you're debating where to order shawarma from, I'd say this place is worth trying. I'm already planning to try one of their wraps next time instead of the plate just to see how it compares. so yea definitly coming back here and bringing some people too, if I were you I would too, loving this place.

I've been coming to this location for around a year now and I can say that I've never been disappointed from the service of the team here. The staff is super friendly and nice, the food is hot and fresh every time and you will definitely have leftovers for the next day. And a special shout-out to Shabnam! She's the sweetest and friendliest of them all, always bringing forth her vibrant personality with a smile. Keep up the great work everyone!
