Amazing ambiance and staff. Also a great varied selection at the buffet! the complimentary naan with the buffet was the best i’ve ever had. Highly recommend the channa :)

We were passing through Cochrane on our way from BC last Friday evening and decided to pop in for dinner based on a quick Google search. The lamb curry we ordered was absolutely phenomenal, tender and fragrant with spices that lingered in the best way. The staff were so welcoming and even helped us figure out portion sizes since we had no idea how hungry we were after a long drive. Genuinely one of the best meals we had on the whole trip and I'm already thinking about making the stop again on the way back.

Wanted to try Indian food while Visiting Canda! So, went to Mehtab's for lunch. We wanted to try most of their food, so went for Buffet option. Unfortunately, everything we tried was below average in taste! I know for a fact Indian food usually tastes much better than what Mehtab EIC is offering. Non of the meat had any taste ! All the food in the Buffet option looked old! Wasted money, appetite and time. Definitely can't recommend this restaurant. I am not sure what thousands of other reviewers saw or tasted in there!

We are both vegans and we appreciated the thoughtful help we received from our server in choosing items on the menu. He checked with the chef on various items. We had dumplings, Dahl Masoor, Madras vegetables with coconut curry leaves and saffron rice. Delicious! Quiet, comforting and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant shows kindness to those less fortunate by offering a meal and blessings to those who can’t pay. We will certainly be back now that we’ve discovered this gem.

Lunch Buffet was excellent. Lots of selection and they bring up fresh hot Naan Bread to the table. For under $20 its a great deal.
