I picked up lamb shoulder chops and fresh ground beef, which they prepared right in front of me. The quality is always excellent. The ground beef is very fresh, and the lamb is tender and full of flavor every time. I’ve been coming here for about five years, since they first opened. It is a small, family-run business, and during peak hours it can get busy, so sometimes there is a short wait. But honestly, that is how you know the place is good. The quality is always worth it. The staff are kind and respectful. I have never had any issues here. It also gives me peace of mind knowing they source their meat from their farm just outside Calgary. You can really taste the freshness. I truly recommend supporting this local business.

Unprofessional and disrespectful experience. I was treated poorly simply for asking about the price per pound and the total weight, as I was interested in purchasing a whole lamb. The owner or a family member approached me aggressively, raised his voice, and told me to leave, saying they did not have meat for me and to “save myself the trouble.” I went to Damascus Butcher afterward, where the price was the same, but the staff were polite, welcoming, and professional. They accommodated my needs, and I was very satisfied with their service.

Disgusting experience when I went today. I walked in and the owners son was screaming at someone on the phone. When he got off the phone he began yelling at the worker who was the only one working in the shop. The worker was nothing but respectful in the way he was replying to him. Then before he left, he went to grab RAW CHICKEN BREAST WITH HIS BARE DISGUSTING HANDS to take with him as he was leaving. He was literally grabbing it from the chicken on display that customers purchase from. After today, I'll never be back. Do yourself a favour and spend your money elsewhere.
