The food was great,friendly well informed waiters and service. I suppose the only thing that didnt sit well with me was the price. Seafood is my favorite cuisine so paying a high price for that indulgence comes with the territory. But definitely had a dream fulfilled. To have a massive platter of exotic seafood for me to stuff my face with.

Well that was fun!! lol! And messy!! Food was great and we left there satisfied. I think we definitely want to return at some point. Checked to make sure I had gluten friendly options. Was able to order a glass of wine. We would really REALLY love to see Caesars on the menu!!!! We are in Calgary after all 😜 Lala was lovely. Great waitress.

Had an amazing time there! Ordered a combo 1-garlic butter and it was delicious (wish they will come with more potatoes but you can order extra lol)- I was served by Lainey and Lala and they were sure to explain everything with detail while being super friendly as it was my first time getting a seafood boil. Really nice place, would definetly come back!

Tried seafood boil for the first time, the food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the combo 2 with the Louisiana flavour and medium spice, as well as the promo garlic noodles. The flavours were perfect, a great blend of garlic and spices. The crab meat was super tasty and tender, definitely recommend! The portion size is quite large and was more than enough for two people with leftovers. Service during lunchtime on a weekday it was a bit slow with only a couple servers, but overall they are kind and accommodating.

Had a great experience at Bag O’Crab in South Calgary! If you’re a seafood lover, this is definitely a place worth checking out. I also liked that it felt like a place where you could take your time, enjoy your food, and have a good conversation rather than feeling rushed. Overall, Bag O’Crab is a fun spot for anyone who enjoys seafood and wants something a little different from the usual restaurant experience. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try, especially if you’re looking for a casual seafood dinner in South Calgary. Would happily come back again!

Tried Bag O Crab and it was honestly a great spot for fresh seafood, especially if you love garlic and spicy flavors. I had the Combo 3 with Dungeness crab, head-off shrimp, corn, potatoes, sausage, and rice on the side, everything tasted fresh and flavorful. One thing though, their spice level is serious 😅 even medium felt really spicy, so i would recommend going with mild unless you can handle a lot of heat. What I really liked was that the seafood tasted fresh and clean with no strong seafood smell at all. The place does get pretty busy on weekends and evenings, so booking ahead is probably a good idea. Overall, definitely worth trying and a nice spot to enjoy a good seafood meal

We had such a great experience at Bag O’Crab’s new Shawnessy location! The space is clean, spacious, and perfect for families. A special shoutout to their manager, Rui, who made our visit even more memorable with excellent service. We ordered Combo 1—loaded with shrimp, crawfish, corn, potatoes, and sausages—and added Dungeness crab to complete the feast. The classic garlic butter sauce was absolutely superb—rich, flavorful, and just perfect. My family truly enjoyed the whole seafood boil experience, and to top it all off, we were surprised with a complimentary cheesecake. Such a sweet ending to a delicious meal! Highly recommended for anyone craving a fun and satisfying seafood feast 🦀
