Where do I start? I’ve never had Pakistani food so I was excited to try some new cuisine with my family and BOY I was not disappointed. I ordered Nihari which is a beef shank curry with spices. It felt like food your mom would make at home. Very comforting, very nostalgic. The chicken tikka masala was the BEST tikka masala I ever tried. The food is prepared fresh and in front of your face as they have a window to watch the cooks work their magic. The staff here were so pleasant and made our first time experience so much more nicer. Raj, who was our host was exceptionally professional, and an outstanding host. He made understanding the Pakistani cuisine very streamlined and something to look forward to. He suggested the Nihari I had and that’s one of my favorite foods to this day. I have literally been back 3 times from different cities JUST to eat here again. The chicken biryani will become something u keep ordering! It’s just that good!!! Trust me, I love food, this place is worth checking out and bringing ur family. And if you’re from Calgary, please come check it out!! Absolutely amazing food!

This was my first time visiting Mirchi Restaurant in Calgary, and honestly, I regret not coming here sooner! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and served hot. The naan was excellent, the kebabs were amazing, and everything we ordered was fantastic. But what impressed me the most was the service. The staff was extremely friendly, polite, welcoming, and helpful. I would definitely highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. If you’re looking for delicious food and excellent service, you should definitely give Mirchi a try. You won’t be disappointed! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We went in there for dinner for the first time when other restaurants didn’t have space to table us. Right away the atmosphere was very nice. It’s a clean and well decorated place. The service was excellent. Our waitress made conversation with us and came in to check with us multiple times to make sure the food was good and scanned the table herself to see if we needed anything. She also set the food in the middle for us. Sometimes restaurants lack in this, they place good anywhere on the table and leave the customers to fix it but the service here was very nice. We ordered BBQ Platter. The waitress helped us figure out which order would be better for a group of our size which was nice. The kebabs, tikkas, and fish were soft, juicy, and very tasty. Malai boti was the tastiest at this restaurant out of all I’ve tried. We wanted to try the fry chargha chicken because we were told it can take 40 to 50 minutes to make. They marinate and make it fresh on the spot, so we opted to order something else. We were told to call in and place an order for chargha chicken ahead of the dinner so that it will be ready within 5 mins of arrival. I’d go back to try it for sure!

Absolutely Outstanding! A Hidden Gem in Calgary! We were a family of 9, including kids, driving back from Waterton National Park on Saturday night when we started looking for somewhere to eat. We found Mirchi Restaurant on Google Maps, mainly because it was one of the very few places open past 11 PM. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier that we found this place! Let me start with their team and hospitality, because that alone deserves recognition. I called about an hour before arriving to ask if they could accommodate a group of 9 so late at night. They were more than happy to have us. Raj took care of us throughout our entire dinner, and he was absolutely fantastic. He was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. He took the time to recommend some of their best dishes, and every recommendation was spot on. The owner was also present, and he was incredibly welcoming and friendly. It was refreshing to see the owner personally interacting with customers and making sure everyone was having a great experience. We ordered: Chicken Shinwari Karahi Paneer Karahi Garlic Naan Seekh Kabab Malai Chicken Tikka And here’s what really blew me away: EVERYTHING WAS MADE FRESH AT 11:30 PM! That is almost unheard of in Canada. Most places that are still open that late are serving food that has been sitting around or offering a very limited late-night menu. Mirchi was doing the complete opposite, freshly prepared, high-quality food late at night without compromising on taste or quality. And you could absolutely taste the difference. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and distinct. Nothing tasted rushed or like a compromise because of the late hour. ⭐ Karahi — 10/10 ⭐ Naan — 10/10 ⭐ Seekh Kabab — 10/10 ⭐ Malai Chicken Tikka — 10/10 ⭐ Hospitality — 10/10 The Chicken Shinwari Karahi in particular was fantastic, and the garlic naan was exactly what you want with a good karahi, fresh, hot and perfectly done. The fact that they were willing to accommodate a family of 9 late at night, welcomed us so warmly, and prepared everything fresh at 11:30 PM made me a fan of this place. You genuinely cannot go wrong with Mirchi Restaurant. This was our first visit, but InshAllah, this will be our go-to restaurant every time we're in Calgary. Huge thanks to Raj, the owner, and the entire team for making our late-night family dinner such a memorable experience. Highly, highly recommended! ❤️🔥

Wonderful experience. Food was excellent! We ordered bbq ultimate platter that was served beautifully. Bbq was moist tender and well marinated. Biryani was delicious. Garlic naan were fresh and crispy. They also offered complimentary Kheer which was one of the best ones I have eaten in Calgary. Highly recommend for great ambience, hospitality and delicious food.
