Best in Calgary! Fresh, Flavorful, and Full of Heart I recently visited Baladi Shawarma in Calgary and left genuinely encouraged. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The meats were seasoned beautifully, the vegetables crisp, and everything tasted clean and intentional. It felt like food made with care, not rushed, not careless. A Strong and Impressive Young Team One of the highlights was the group of young adults serving behind the counter. They were respectful, attentive, and professional. There was a quiet confidence and pride in their work that stood out to me. It’s always encouraging to see young people working hard and representing their family and culture well. Welcoming Atmosphere The space is nicely decorated and clean, creating a comfortable environment whether you’re dining in or taking your meal to go. Parking is easy, which makes visiting convenient. They also offer a good variety of drink options, which adds to the overall experience. A Message of Hope I noticed a message of hope written in Arabic inside the restaurant, a small but meaningful detail. Knowing the owners are Syrian adds depth to the story behind this place. Calgary is stronger because of families who bring their heritage, resilience, and hospitality to our city. On Tuesday after snowing day, I came to order takeout of Beef Kabab & Shish Taeouk Plate $19.95 with Greek Salad. Professional, clean and tidy. Bright indoor with big class frontal. Lady cooking efficiently after taking order. ALess than 15minutes. Big portions of fresh hot food to go home.

Amazing experience at Baladi Shawarma! Came across this hidden gem as I had an appointment nearby for my kids. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. I had the chicken shawarma wrap and shish tawook plate for my kids. Both were made with fresh ingredients and so flavourful. My four year old son who barely eats anything but fries loved the plate and said it was the best shawarma restaurant he has ever tried! Thank you guys for an excellent experience! Will recommend to others and will be coming back for more!

Baladi Shawarma truly deserves its high rating! From the moment we walked in, everything was excellent — fresh food, generous portions, amazing taste, and outstanding customer service. Every item was prepared perfectly and the restaurant had a very warm and friendly atmosphere. A huge thank you to Nadia Qaddami for being so welcoming, respectful, and professional. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel valued as customers. Her positive attitude and kindness really stood out. This is honestly one of the best shawarma places I’ve visited in Calgary. Highly recommended to anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service. I will definitely return again and again.❤️❤️
